Is this still the strongest dps ship in the game?

    Saw something in the DPS League's page that said it was. Due to a slightly more versatile boff layout over the Khopesh. I've had mine since they came out and have ZERO complaints. :)

    It wouldn't surprise me if the SCI Scimitar tops the roster for DPS.

    Cmdr TAC station
    8 weapon slots
    5 SCI Console Slots to fill with Embassy Plasma Exploders

    That is a solid, solid foundation. There are numerous ships with a number of those 3 characteristics but correct me if I'm wrong, the SCI Scimitar is the only one with all 3.

    Ferengi Nandi is close but doesn't have the 5 SCI Console Slots.

    There are tons of Escorts with 4 SCI Console Slots but do not have the 8 weapon slots nor the 5 SCI Console Slots.

    The Breen Chel Grett / Baolg has Cmdr TAC and 8 weapon slots but only 3 SCI Console Slots.

    The T6 Science Flagships of the KDF & Feds have the 8 weapon slots but not the Cmdr TAC and 5 SCI Console Slots.

    The Scimitars remain very unique to this day and the SCI version most especially so.
