It was not even annoying, I actually found it quite amusing, but, from what I have seen on these Forums, there are a large number of players who will start a rant fest about Unplayable, immersion breaking etc etc, etc if it happens to them.
What is it ? Oh yeh, better give that info.
The first thing you do after beaming down is rappel down a "cliff". I did that, and then played the entire mission with my Captain hanging on to, and trailing, her rappelling rope with her everywhere she went. At mission end, her rope seems to have been transported up to the ship with her as it went through the transport animation also. Made me wish I could visit my bridge and maybe see her with a coil of rope hanging from her belt lol
