Im already making my christmas list for next year, lets see if Santa will deliver.
Starship Traits:
- Tachyon Beam now drains all targets within (3-5) km of your primary target.
- Tykens Rift gains a pull effect. Enhanced by the control skill.
- Viral Matrix now drains effected targets power. Enhanced by drain skill.
- Makes Tractor Beam useful.
-Tractor beam can now hold multiple targets.
- Pulse powers such as Charged Particle Burst and Photonic Shockwave now have an (8-10) kilometer radius.
- Charged Particle Burst has a (40-50)% chance of disabling targets shields for x seconds. Enhanced by control skill.
- Control abilities such as Gravity Well and Tractor beam repulsors cause enemies to slam into each other causing physical damage. (No idea how it'd work mechanically.)
- Removes the damage threshhold from Jam Sensors.
- Scramble Sensors grants all enemies a large damage buff and Feedback Pulse while active.
Duty Officers:
- Allows Tachyon beam to affect a second target at the expense of reduced drain. Stacks up to three times.
- Same as above but with Tractor Beam.
- Kemocite Laced Weaponry has a chance to proc mini-Subspace Vortexes.
- Scramble Sensors and Jam Sensors have a chance to reapply after 5 seconds.
Comments
It is useful. And it shows with those regular threads talking about how players get vaporized by D'Deridexes with their TB/plasma torps combo.
A power dedicated to nullify random power should drain power? Well, it does already, then. It removes power and thus, gives you 0 power, since there is none to drain.
Not a bad idea, but only if it deals double damage to the ship that casts it, because otherwise, it's not funny.
As for the rest, I won't even bother pointing problems, they do it by themselves quite well, already.
