It usually happens at 40 or so percent, there's no SNR, no signs of increased CPU or memory usage, and it looks like the app just freezes.
I'm not reporting it as a bug since it's most probably some Wine-related thing or something funny with my PC, but if it isn't and other people see it...

Sometimes works.
Windows 10 keeps crashing, however.
They know this.
Looking for Bug.
Got lost around the coffee machine.
"Loading Screen Crash" bug still multiplying.
go figure.
consoles don't seem to be affected as no complaints as yet.

1. Is the Option Reset on Arc. you have to shut it off after every update, as you've mentioned.
2. Is an actual corruption or game 'Bug', that causes the game to crash, most often with Win7/8/and 10.
I was addressing the bug originally, which is the second issue above.
Using the workaround you've listed addresses the problem with Arc, not the bug.
2 separate issues, with similar affects - the game crashes on loading screen.
Both are known issues.

I only started having the problem with the lighting 2.0 update.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I had the same problem randomly but also rarely for a while, then it got to a point where I had SNRs all the time. I switched to the U.S. Proxy and haven't had a problem since then.
