Ok, so I played on PC for years. PC crapped out, xbox one was cheaper than getting a decent PC. Not all that terrible, cause a couple months later STO released on xbox. Been playing for a bit now, and the controls have their frustrations, but I loved being back in my world.
Winter event comes along. I used to love showing off on the ice with my frosted boots. The extra jump height as a caitian and the trick jumps were just that fun. I noticed a LONG time ago that since I can't hold the jump button (A) like I can on PC (spacebar) that I wasn't getting the full extent of my caitian jump height. Now I see I'm not able to do tricks on the ice anymore either. Has someone else found how the controls may have been altered to do this on console that I'm just not seeing?
Wasn't sure where else to put this, since when I click xbox tab, I get redirected out of forums, and clicking forums puts me back on PC; so I figured General Discussion would cover most topics; and worst comes to worst a MOD moves it to where it should go.
Holding (B) doesn't do anything on ground, so the captain's menu could be moved there to allow extended jumping control. I still think customising power presets should be in the start menu too, but I'm getting slightly off topic; and I think those belong in suggestions...
