For whatever it's worth, I left the game and uninstalled the moment the Connie became part of a promo. Some people have claimed that this was inevitable, but I don't think it ever had to be that way. If anything, it felt like a giant middle finger to me and the fanbase. I've reinstalled to take advantage of the Winter Wonderland event. Maybe one day, I'll feel like some trek and play the rest of the game I figure and finish off my temporal recruit. Maybe. But I'm probably not going to spend another dime. No reason to really, I have plenty on my characters and Cryptic has shown me how little they think of my money and my concerns for the most part.
That being said, if you put that NX Refit with the secondary hull and all on the market for direct zen. I will buy it. Just sayin'. I refuse, completely and utterly if for no other purpose than ethical grounds to get involved in the gambling. That's what it is. And for those who think that the alternative of selling keys is a good idea. Somebody still had to gamble that so it doesn't take away from that and it makes those digital items ridiculously more expensive than they need to be. The only reason why Cryptic is able to take that much money or time from you is because you let them for a game that has ps2 lvl graphics.
Ball is in your court Cryptic. Maybe my money, my voice doesn't matter to you. But if it doesn't, then that's all the more reason not to conduct business with you ever again.

Oh! You mean the T6 Temporal ship disguised as a Connie from the promo pack! Sorry, my bad.
Yeah, while, like everything, it'd have been nice to see it as a C-Store item, it was never going to happen. It's actually quite impressive we even managed to get a T6 version, like how we managed to get Kelvin timeline ships considering the previous statements that this wasn't gonna happen.
But well, even if it was a C-Store ship, people would complain about something. If people can complain about the first Mario game on phones being only $10, anything goes now.
Also, as has been explained a thousand times in the other eleventy Connie whine threads, you do not need to gamble at all. Buy keys, sell keys for EC, buy ship for EC with 100% chance of success.
So, Cryptic have offended you by making the T6 Connie a promo pack gamble item, and you don't hold with gambling. Fair enough. However, it would appear that you've been fine with the use of gamble-pack items for the last 5 years and it seems only to have become an issue when it means that someone else can fly your iconic ship while you can't.
I do find it amusing that you are against other people gambling. As it happens, gambling for cash is legal in most nations where this game is played, and most of us are adults who can decide how we want to waste our money, thank you very much. Is £60 spent on a T6 gamble ship money worse spent than a night out with a meal and wine?
Finally, while it's true that the T6 Connie - and likely any T6 NX - are locked behind a "gamble wall", the other iconic Trek ships aren't. The Defiant, Galaxy and Intrepid are all in the C-store. Furthermore, the C-store also offers an almost-Connie (the Ranger/Paladin) and almost-NX (the Akira/Alita). So it's not like 22c or 23c fans don't have other options.
Your crying changed nothing then, what do you think it will change now?
Ragequit threads (even thinly disguised ones) are against the rules, aren't they?

@jodarkrider
this is more of a.... "I ragequit, then came back, and want a cookie" thread tho?
