A sense of satisfaction and the inner peace that comes from knowing you out-epeened all those wimps who complained the event was too grindy and hard so they skipped it.
But seriously? I don't think there is a bonus turn in. Those are only on the dil+mark events.
Once you have the ship a daily task opens up to convert vouchers into rep marks and dilithium. So you might want to build up vouchers on all your alts to spend out after you get the ship.

Except that has the same cooldown as the run and will be gone after the event so you can never actually spend any build up.

They really don't want you to run more than once.
It has the same cooldown, but its per character and you can not run it that day if you like and just spend out your reserves.
We should be able to turn them in in bulk for something, like in the event buyback store. Give us a reason to actually do the events on more than one character or for longer than the minimum days necessary.
Pretty sure you will be able to trade them for a small amount of marks each day and next year you will probably be able to trade them at the lobi store for something small to benefit that event.
But really once you get the new shiny ship there is no major point to keep collecting them.

Its like a once a day thing IIRC. Not another 1000
As others have said, once you've got enough vouchers to claim the ship, you can still do the daily and turn them in for (I think) 40 marks a piece.
Unless they've done something to change this, there is a way to get 2 of the event ships on some of your characters. Typically, once you've claimed the ship on one character it's then available as a "reclaim" for the rest of the characters on your account; however, if you happen to also be doing the daily on at least some of your other characters, not only can they do the initial claim of the ship from getting the vouchers, they can also reclaim a second one of that ship in the reclaim tab thus getting two of them.

Why would anyone want two of the same ship box in inventory? You can't do anything with the second box except discard it.

In case you crash the first one?
Seriously, though, I honestly have no clue other than just because you can.

Actually, It's not a bad Idea to collect Vouchers on other toons; HOWEVER, don't do another 1000/toon.. The BuyBack/Trade-In doesn't become active until you have unlocked the Event Ship. That 25 days into the event. The BuyBack/Trade-In has the same 20hr CD as the Daily Missions,,
So, my suggestion is if you want to collect vouchers on other toons, don't exceed say 300,. That way you should be able to trade in those for Marks and not have any leftover junk.
Now.. You will still have to run the daily after you unlock the ship on the ONE TOON that actually ran for the 1,000 Vouchers ONLY IF you want that toon to be able to trade in for marks as well.. tyvm
No trade in Store for R&D stuff. That was only available in the year they implemented the new yearly vouchers because they did that after people had accumulated the vouchers the year before. Now that everyone knows the rules they don't need it. Excess is useless.
With the Anniversary Event all Characters that run the FE will get the bonus 400. But only the Character doing the unlock needs to do the Omega Daily for the Daily 40 vouchers for 15 more days. The other Characters can do the Bonus Projects after the Ship unlock but that 400 will be more than they need to run those Daily Bonus Projects before the Event ends.
The Winter, Summer, Special 21 day (Crystalline, Mirror, Breach) and Anniversary Event unlocks the Bonus Project for all characters on the Account after the main Project is completed. You get 50 Fleet Marks, 35 Marks or your choice, and 2,000 Dilithium.

Seems to me that if they will let me trade for Marks and Dil, it's worth the extra two minutes (per toon) to keep doing the event a few extra times - especially since I only got 4 iconian marks for doing a Kobali ground run or 10 marks for doing patrols for Delta or Romulan marks. I got 1 - ONE - Iconian mark for my "choice of marks" in an STF. Gives a whole new meaning to the word "grind."
I mean, I realize they want logins and such, but do they really expect me to do 750 STFs to buy one piece of rep gear?
The one Mark that you are talking about is the secondary selection from the Borg Red Alert where you picked a Mark Choice where you had already gotten the Daily Bonus. That Red Alert offers Omega Marks automatically - 10, or 65 with the Daily Bonus. It then offers a Mark Selection Box, which will award 56 of the Marks of your choice, if you had not already earned the Daily for that Mark type, or ONE if you had already earned the Daily Bonus for that Mark Type.
Rule of Thumb: DO NOT TAKE THE MARK CHOICE FOR A TYPE THAT INDICATES NO DAILY BONUS. You will be disappointed with the one Mark reward.
Both Red Alerts also awards 5 Fleet Marks automatically regardless of any subsequent choices.

I gave that ice racing thing a shot, several in fact. I have no skills. Great job to those who managed, but a Breen ship was never a huge draw for me. I have succeeded in equipping each of my captains with a winter jacket and I've set up one of my characters with the endothermic kits, training manuals and that cold warp drive to complete the Breen Absolute Zero space set, so the winter event was a plus for me despite my lousy racing.

If you have snow boots (which are usable outside the event) you can just jump your way to the finish. You also don't need to stay on the track entirely, at some points you can just jump over the snow instead of following the loops. This can save a lot of time.

Sorry, no, don't. It's pointless. You don't then get to fly two ships at the same time.

Probably not. That was a one-time giveaway to hoarders as part of the change to making the tokens year-specific.

Just saying runs done now aren't wasted.

You're supposed to enjoy looking at Q's face. Didn't you hear the Ferengi? He's soooo handsome.
