Orion and Gorn ships

I myself really want to buy a T6 Orion ship of any kind. Or a new Gorn science ship would be awesome. What ships would you guys buy right away if they offered it for the KDF? Note: Please do not include any Klingon ship, as we already have several of those. I really want Cryptic to take advantage of the KDF's diversity. I think it's a gold mine. I'm getting tired of Klingon ships.

    Well, first and foremost, if they gave me an Orion FDC primarily Eng/Sci with an Intel seat, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. My Orion Sci officer is in need of a T6 boat but without a new Orion ship she's stuck in her Fleet T5-U Corsair...

    A Gorn answer to the Vesta would be amazing, too. I bought the Naj'sov for my Gorn but would prefer a proper Gorn ship.

    With all the specialty seating, I'd like to see them do something for the Letheans. With Gorn representing Science, Orions representing Engineering, and Nausicaans representing Tactical, there wasn't much flavor room for Lethean ships. Now there's more wiggle room for making a them stand apart by doing something a little unusual with it.

    Playable versions of some of the NPC ships, tweaked up models:

    Orion
    Warbarge Dreadnought
    Slavemaster Battleship
    Orion Frigate (Escort with hangar bay)
    T6 Marauder FDC (a.k.a. "Giant Space Hamster")
    T6 Corsair FDC (Like Marauder, exists already at T5)

    Gorn
    Vishap Frigate (Escort)
    Zilant Battleship
    Balaur Dreadnought
    T6 Varanus Support Vessel

    Nausicaan
    Ravager Dreadnought
    Talon Battleship
    Syphon Frigate (Escort with hangar bay to deploy KDF energy siphon drones)

    I'm still wondering if the new KDF one could get a Gorn skin on it or not, maybe one of the NPC ships finally?

    Kind of amazed that the Orion Scout Ship of the TOS era hasn't been turned into a Pilot Ship already ... particularly since it appeared in Journey to Babel ...

    I'd rather we got more vulcan ships before any more other race ships. One ship for an entire race while everyone else has at least three?... and no, the Tal'Kyr doesn't count because it's part of the D'Kyr!

    Or maybe a Lethean ship? Not any canon to use there I suppose.

    But there was a Pakled ship. maybe some other races could get some designs. Maybe they could do a ship pack with multiple designs? I don't know. It sounds kind of fun.

    My signature says it all. Hassan's ship (from the Undying mission in the Wasteland story arc) would make the perfect base for a T6 Orion ship. That or a T6 upgrade of the T5 Corsair. Both beautiful designs.

    Ship would be similar to Klinzhai/Geneva but the difference would be BOFF arrangement. Where the Klinzhai/Geneva gained an extra engineering boff ability over T5U Corsair, Hassan/Corsair T6 would get an extra Sci boff ability with the ensign engineering boff from the Corsair turning universal.

    Sensor analysis would be a nice addition too. (Replacing the cloak that Klinzai has)

    If there's hybrid seating, temporal would be the best fit for it's sciencey focus. If not that, then Intel. Probably have that on one of the LtC seats.

    This would basically be my ideal ship. Klinzhai is close, but not quite science enough.

    So are there any Orion T6 ships in game at the moment? I like to run themes on my toons and would really much want to do an Orion.

    Non currently. The only T6 sub faction ship for KDF atm I believe is the Nausicaan Kolasi.
    No T6 Orion, Gorn or Fek'Ihri ships.

    Space potato is the Marauder no? Corsair is much better looking imo. Hassans ship appears to riff off the Corsair.

    I really like the Looks of the existing Orion and Nausicaan ships - the Gorn not so much...

    Nausicaan Fighter and a T6 Version of the Scourge would be awesome.
    I do like the fl.Corsair, but retired it when the command cruisers came out as their stats were just better - using the Skin would have been nice though :(

    Same could be said with the Atrox. The D'kyr along with the Atrox seem to be a forgotten child of the federation fleet.

    But in regards to the OP, I would like to have seen that new Klingon science vessel to have been a Gorn vessel. They missed the opportunity with that one.

    I could go for seeing a Gorn carrier/cruiser, while I would like to see a Orion science ship.I would not mind seeing more of the other orion and gorn, as well as the other sub races ships in the kdf added either.

    Gorn ships are kinda fugly, aren't they? All bloaty and bulky.

    Indeed, I'd rather see a T6 D'Kyr (flyable by everyone) first.

    Still prefer the NPC Gorn ships to the playable ones that look like 30yr old dustbusters.

    I am just wondering since they released the Kolasi Siege Destroyer, were they testing the marketing waters so see if they should release future alien ships? I'm getting bored just flying Klingon ships.

    A T6 Scourge would be nice.

    Also, I don't know if the other Klingon subject species suffer from the same thing, but at least Nausicaan ships use KDF bridges right now, which is pretty disappointing. They should really give the ships proper species-specific bridges. Even one room ones would be better than nothing.
