thought I'd share this with you.

I was on the edge of having a serious drinking problem. due to boredom and stuff happening on my life.

but I'm happy to say from the release of STO on console. I've managed to stop drinking totally and feel far better off without it.

it's strange how a good game can effect you. and all the help people here have given me.

so thank you all. and happy xmas

Takes courage to face up to some things. Takes even more to announce such things publicly. Thank you. For giving those of us who think we have problems a sense of perspective. Thank you as well for providing a good example to follow. With courage such as yours, no problem is too difficult to solve eventually.

Good for you! A wise decision.
About 4.5 years ago, I decided to quit smoking and spend the money I used to buy cigarettes with on STO instead. Haven't smoked a single one since. ;)

Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you as well!

I truly believe that this game has helped me keep a better grip on reality. Ironic, no?

    Feeling angry? Blow stuff up.
Feeling frustrated? B**ch with your fleetmates.
Feeling like you lost your cool? DOffing & Admiralty await.
