Command to go to Bridge...?

I go back and forth to my bridge quite a lot. It's my habit to write a Captain's Log after every mission and report in from the bridge. I find the need to go to the little dropdown menu a bit tedious and inconvenient, so I wondered if there was a slash command I could bind to a key that would let me go directly there without need for the menu.

I don't know, but I'd start my search here:

I doubt this exists, for mainly one reason:
-each bridge is a unique instance with its own designation. So even if a command existed it'd most likely merely be a "go to <location>" and this would greatly be exploited to go to other locations or wrong bridge
-for the same reason, you'd need to know the real Id of the bridge, instead of the in-game label

Well coming to think of it, it really does seem like such a function, like how beaming/warp out is, should exist as an always onscreen button without needing to find it in an obscure menu like that.

STO isn't canon, and neither are any of the books.

Personally i think after each mission we should have to go to our bridge to be able to finish it, kinda like an actual TV series trek where the captain files the report either on the bridge or his/her ready room.

    I was thinking the same...
That's more or less what I do. In the old days especially, I would do a mission in an exploration zone, then flesh out the events in a detailed Captain's Log. These days, my enthusiasm for doing it has waned, since there's no longer any exploration or "generic" missions to do. Everything is already written.

I did something similiar. Back int he day the game felt much more "open", but the devs and playerbase collectively decided that everything not being dubbed by expensive voice actors and containing endless, unskippable cutscenes is not worth having in STO.
