Question about Liberated Borg

If I buy the Seven of Nine stuff from the C-Store, will I be able to use the Borg attachments for a male Lib Borg or are only female Lib Borg able to use them?
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

No, you only get the seven of nine stuff which is exclusive for female chars (boffs and toons).

Those pieces are only for female feds and rom-feds, even among borg. ><

    They're not that liberated.

Thanks. I thought so. I appreciate the quick responses.

Personally, the attachments at least should be able to be used by males as well. Or at least have a separate package of just the attachments and make them usable for both genders.

The body suit can now be used for KDF and KDF-Rom, last I checked the implants can't.

I think the eye-piece is pretty much identical to one of the ones available to all Liberated Borg by default.

Though I haven't used mine in ages, so don't quote me on that.

The eye-piece in the 7 of 9 pack is available to Liberated Borg characters as one of the options, even without the purchase, yes.

Unfortunately, the pack itself is limited to female-characters only, as mentioned by posters above too.

Technically, no. It's very similar to one of the metal eyebrow parts, but the 7of9 version also has a small cheek implant as part of it. It's like this:

You're right. But, if you are LTS and have a Liberated Borg AND you have the 7 of 9 pack, the default eyepiece you get for free is 'overwritten' by the one from the C-Store pack. At least that's how it always has been for me.

Also there is a glove option as part of the pack that looks like her hand implant.

It's neat because it's an asymmetrical option. IE you have the metal webbing on only one hand.

As jodarkrider said, the eye-piece available to liberated Borg, is the same as Seven's eye-piece ;) That the cheek implant becomes available with the Seven Costume, wasn't the statement made ;)

You misunderstand. The cheek piece is not a separate costume layer from the eyepiece. Yes, the costumes are a bit redundant, but they are different.

Yes, the cheek implant and the eye-piece of the Seven costume are indeed applied as one 'layer', not as separate elements... That wasn't the statement... The statement, was that the eye-piece available to liberated Borg, is the same as Seven's eye-piece... That the eye-piece for rhe liberated doesn't provide the coresponding cheek implant, is beside the point -- that the eye-piece is the same B)

Before I 'accidentally' unlocked the implants (I wanted the bodysuit for one of my KDF BOFFs) I wasn't prepared to spend 'money for pixels' on getting the 'full implant kit' for my Seven, because the tailor doesn't have enough range to recreate Jeri Ryan's features (for one, the eyes can't be made large enough) and so because my Trexels Seven was in a Voyager Sciences uniform, I put my STO Seven in an Odyssey sciences uniform... Because I couldn't recreate Jeri Ryan's features (the closest which the sliders facilitate, is actually Natasha Henstridge :D<3:D ) I was happy to go with a 'close enough is good enough' approach... But once I bought the outfit for the KDF Boff, and realized it opened up across the account, I figured I might as well give Annika Hanson ( ;p ) the correct full set of Borg implants, and the iconic silver bodysuit B)

The body suit can now be used for KDF and KDF-Rom, last I checked the implants can't.

The hand implant and catsuit is now available to KDF and KDF-aligned Romulan females, but the face implants aren't available. Which seems strange since you can use the face implant on the female Starfleet Klingon Bridge Officer.

Technically there are no cross-faction races. Inside the game code a Starfleet Klingon is a different race than a KDF Klingon. The same is apparently true of Romulans, allegiance choice changes the race of your captain. This is why they have different costume options, etc...

IIRC there also used to be a bug where all Romulan boffs were internally marked as Fed or KDF. And thus you had to match that to use them.

I think the same might be true with the Aliens too... Cara and Hamlin, for example, Federation Alien gen builds of Pentaxians (pale blonde hair, darker eyebrows) On the Romulan side of things, however, creating Siri in the exact same way, her hair and eyebrow colors are locked... I noticed the same thing with my first Aliengen Orion... Her eyes and lipstick were the same color (I think I only got away with it with Sihna, because she was a direct costume load from a KDF 'true' Orion...

"might?", no it IS. Alien is a "race" as far as the game engine is concerned. Each race has their own rules and aliens simply have more interesting rules.

Yes... The point I was making, is that the Alien for Fed, and Alien for Rom, don't follow the same rules ;)
