I needed to laugh. STO provides a means too..

Told it 10 times to pick up the warp core (days of doom) before it occured to the game to give me it. It would also appear that the dev's ability not to cheat has also been Defeated! At this point it is hard to believe that anything this game indicates is the truth. Seriously. I about fell out of my chair laughing at how they "think" I was defeated, even though I wasn't. Not by a long shot. LOL! They call themselves a repectable company? Just stop....I need to breath from all this laughing! I am also thinking about re-naming me ship to USS Plasma Fire. Has a certain ring too it. Not to mention 100% truth. It just spouts plasma fires for no reason even when situtations don't warrant it. Thanks Cryptic.... I needed that laugh!
No, I am not angry at all. How can I be from laughing so hard? Why be angry when it is so much healthier to laugh at them? True? Happy Explodeing!

No, I have not gone off the deep end. Just tired of getting angry. So laughing at them is so much better!

That was solely your fault to play a terribad queue and you were asking to team up with clueless folks. Nobody plays it, but you.

I am confident that made a lot more sense in your head when you wrote it than it did in mine when I read it.

You're missing a lot of context if you'd like the rest of us to get the joke :).

Again... another complaint thread from the guy that hates STO.

Seriously, you obviously don't like this game, and you're apparently pretty lousy at playing it.

Maybe it's time you found something more enjoyable to do with your time. There are a thousand games out there you can play and dozens of free to play titles, it's not like you HAVE to play STO.

I never understood why people choose to spend time doing things they don't enjoy. This is a game, not a job.. if you don't like it, just stop playing.

So... is he talking about spontaneous combustion? Because I have never seen that happen...

Well, I'm guessing its in regard to picking up the dreadnought core - which puts a very fatal DoT on you.

Its a game of hot potato at that phase. Heal the person carrying it (including yourself) and if you're about to blow up DROP IT. Then let someone else pick it up or spend some time healing up before you carry it again.

Yeah I have a feeling this is what got the OP.

I really enjoy this queue. It's one of those queues where ship speed, healing and CC matter more than pure firepower. I guess that's why not many play it.

I've had some excellent runs as long as at the beginning I ask if anyone wants to stay behind to cover the starbase. I've met people who build entirely for that job and were amazing tanks that kept everything off the base the entire time.

I've seen a pilot ship haul the dreadnought core into place smooth as silk without dropping it one time (I chased after them throwing heals, but that ship could MOVE...). The pilot captain knew their business, hauling the normal cores into place like a conveyor belt while I swept everything out of his path coming and going. It was a joy to watch.

Great encounter that actually puts a lot of underused roles in the spotlight.

Same principle - no harm shall come to the itty bitty space station :).

Thing is, that scenario just has lots of moving parts, and since the respawns are infinite, you can't just shoot your way to the end (though massive pew-pew is PART of the solution). I've really liked that they're at least trying to make content that's more than burn it to the ground and sift the ashes for loot. The Nakhul convoy raid had similar opportunities for the thoughtful captain to shine.
