Console Feedback on Mini-games - Dilithium mining, radiation scans, matching waveforms

First I want to say that the console version of STO is absolutely amazing. Cryptic has done a great job!

If there were anything wrong, or something that DESPERATELY NEEDS IMPROVING, is the mini-games. Currently dilithium mining, radiation scans and waveform matching is done with the left thumb stick. IF....IF there was anything to complain about on the console version, it would be this.

The mini-games formerly mentioned are a real pain in the butt to do without the arrow keys on a keyboard. My humble recommendation is to allow (or change) the mini-games to be played with the D-PAD. The d-pad portion of a console controller will allow for speed and accuracy when trying to match those ever-shifting lines up. The thumb stick is loose and sloppy.......and slow.

On PC I have a very high probability to earn, and can earn the maximum results from these mini-games using my arrow keys, I can NOT do the same on console. Having the d-pad available for use in mini-games would absolutely help close this frustrating gap.

Thank you for time, and thanks for bringing STO consoles!!!

    Seconded.

I can't tell you how many times I think I've pushed up or down on the left stick only for the game to register a left or right instead. I would much rather use the D-Pad for these mini-games.

It's not much better having to use the arrow keys on the PC to control the dilithium mining drill.

I'd like to see the dev that designed this have to collect their paycheck using this puzzle just to give them an idea how annoying it is.

My problem with the mini games (same with the captains menu) is that sometimes the analog stick is just to fast, I don't know how many times doing some dilithium mining where the sensor would be in a half tick, causing it to be almost impossible to start the beam because you are just that half a tic too close or too far.

I'd like it to use our normal movement Keys wsad instead of having to switch to arrows on PC.

I'd like it to use our normal movement Keys wsad instead of having to switch to arrows on PC.

This would be doubly useful for those situations where the mini-game comes out of nowhere, as it does several times in the most recent FE.
