Minor peev - Romulan faction android Boff

This is something that does bother me (OMG, the game is totally unplayable!!!!11! /sarc), so I wanted to address it here, see if there are like minded folks out there.

As the title suggests, it's in regards to the Android Bridge Officer 700 day Veteran reward.
Now, feddies can pick up their Boff on ESD, Klingons go to Qo'nos. Romulan captains, however, can not go to New Romulus, but rather need to go to the home base of their alliance, so either ESD or Qo'nos. This is part one of my peev, as no matter where I look, I can't seem to find anywhere that actually tells you you need to be on ESD or Qo'nos. I can't be the only one who thinks that it would only make sense to go to New Romulus, and thus wastes time running around there, trying to find the pick-up point for the Boff.
Second part of my peev is that, because you are 'forced' to get the Starfleet or KDF android, you are also limited to those factions' costumes for your new Boff. So, even though you can customize the android to look Romulan, you can't dress them in a Romulan outfit.

I'd welcome any input from others.

Enh.. aside from not being able to use a Romulan uniform...

Also annoying that you can't put Alien BOFFS in Romulan uniforms.

Which is inconsistent since one of my Romulan captains is alien so he can have a goatee

Just a symptom of a greater problem; Romulans stuck using allied Vet'droids, Marauding/Diplomacy BOffs who can't wear their Captain's faction's uniform (and have no access to the other faction's uniforms because of their Captain), Romulan Allied BOffs who can't wear the Romulan uniform, ship crews who wear completely different uniforms than their Senior Staff...

Also part of a bigger problem with New Romulus as a whole being a true homeworld to Romulan characters. There is still a lack of services there (like academy terminals) forcing Romulan players to abandon New Romulus in favor of ESD or Qo'nos.

It's just not right. I don't mind being allied with these factions... I just don't want to BE them (I'll roll a pure faction toon for that).

What's more inconsistent is Romulan aliens can't deviate very far from 'human' whereas Federation and Klingon aliens can.

On that note, another thing I've noticed is that when I got the Romulan liberated Borg boff from the Lobi store, I found that I can't even put her in a Starfleet uniform. Nor even a Romulan Republic uniform. All I could do was put her in some civilian clothes and say that she's from Starfleet Intelligence or maybe "on loan" from Republic Intelligence for certain missions, just for story purposes.

At one point in the dev blogs related to LoR Romulan aliens were referred to as "hybrids". It was also mentioned that they would only be available to non-silver players. But..... we never got any more info than that. Whatever that idea was was seemingly scrapped.... except the slider limits.
