Romulus dailies not being offered

I have been doing the dailies on New Romulus but after the update a few days ago, they no longer show up. I tried leaving the system and coming back and that gave me the beginning cut-scene again and pointed me back to the foreman but when I talk to him, no dailies are offered. I tried going to some other spots and its the same, no one will offer me a daily on New Romulus.

Any ideas?

Go to your Journal (default hotkey J on PC), go to Episodes, go to the New Romulus arc tab, try accepting them from there. Hope that helps.

    This^

Those area missions were removed from New Romulus and put under available missions in your Journal.

See, I'm having the opposite happen: they are being pushed upon log in (just like the other arc missions are offered automattically), even though I've declined them...thankfully this is only happening once per play session.

I got that for one mission that I'd never bothered doing... so I went and did it, and the notification went away. Problem solved!

Thank you very much, that was it.

On another note, my understanding is that most dailies are offered in the area they need to be completed in, for example I have to go to the staging area to do the staging area daily. Why waste the time and effort to code that change and move those missions to the journal instead of the NPC? It just seems to me that Cryptic spends so much time and effort on things that dont need fixed.

Honestly? I think it's part of a work-in-progress type thing. You see, since the release of "Sphere of Influence", there's been the recurring problem of players reaching "SoI' - which features the New Rom Iconian Gateway - before completing Tier 5 of the New Rom Rep - wherein the Gateway is actually discovered - causing what I've jokingly referred to as 'temporal shenanigans'. For that to be fixed/worked around one of three things would need to happen; the ability to progress faster in Reputations would be needed (unlikely), "Sphere of Influence" and everything that comes after it would need to be locked until New Rom Rep T5 is reached (Oh, the whining and complaining that would ensue...) or, finally, the missions for the New Rom Rep would need to be slipped into the main storyline somehow (which seems to be what they're working towards)...

Of course, this is just my thoughts...
