Graphics Reset EVERY Time I Log In since Today's Patch 25-OCT-2016

Since today's patch on 25.OCT.2016, every single time I log in to STO, the Launcher pauses and a little pop up window opens saying "Your GRAPHICS Settings have been reset to the Recommended Settings."
Which in turn forces me to go into the game's settings and put the graphics back up to where I had them.
Is there a way to stop this from happening? Is there a setting now in the game to prevent this from happening to me all the time now?
