Missing referenced Episodes

What happened to the other referenced Episodes that Al Rivera talked about in interviews back in mid July. He said they were working on a mind trap revamp and that it would be coming back soon. He also said that Sela would be making a return at the same time in a new Episodes and they had Denise Crosby doing the voice work and it would be very emotional . I think he talked about a couple other Episodes at the same time as well in an interview but I can't fully recall those.

Is the Yesterday's War arc finished along with the Future proof arc? 4 months of no content and we don't have anything at all added to them or any of the referenced stuff they said they were working on.

Your first mistake was to listen to anything Gecko says...

He is not a particularly reliable source of information, despite the role he's in.

Well I hope the Devs know we had more content in 2015 without and expansion than 2016 with one

How much more content do you think there was?

2015: The entirety of The Iconian War and the beginning of Future Proof totaled 10 episodes. 5 queues.

2016: The remainder of Future Proof so far and the 6 TOS missions totals 10 episodes. 3 queues. There's going to be at least Echoes of Light for 3 weeks in October/November for 11 episodes. Possibly room for a second featured episode before the year ends.

So we've got a few less queues and an extra episode or two.

More stuff is being released on Oct 25th, ie next tuesday, right on schedule, will this release include Mine Trap revamp & the return of Sela? No idea, but it will include the start of a new story arc, the K- 13 fleet holding, kit revamp, and a bunch of other stuff.

Not really - overall we've gotten nearly as much content so far this year - and there's still two months to go.

I thin k the reason many feel there was more content is because less content was released at a time; but that content was released at a regular/steady pace for months (IE once every three weeks.) This year we had one large content drop in July - and pretty much nothing for about three months - and a second drop now in late October.

Keep in mind that it takes time to work on new episodes and schedule when they get released. For all we know, Denise Crosby could be the Anniversary episode.

lol! everything that I have seen removed from the game was prefaced by this type of statement. I have never seen anything return. Pretty sure they do not intend for any of that to return.

    I agree with this.

If you add in the 4 from AoY it's 14 episodes. This is more than last year by a long shot, and we're still not finished with this year!

Ah yeah. It did. I forgot about that one but only because I never ran that when it was around and didn't bother too much with the event.

Plus why do you assume we're done with those arcs? The upcoming content uses 23c art, has a 23c styled fleet holding, and the fluff story suggests it ties into dangling 23c plot hooks.....

Remember that the six TOS Episodes were only for TOS Characters. They did indicate that the Future Proof Arc was done. So that leaves the new one and possibly new Episodes for Yesterday's War. The setup for that Arc lends itself to add Episodes all over the space-time continuum whenever they choose. [Possible tie-ins for the upcoming Discovery Series maybe.]

Problem with some of these new Queues is that if you don't run them when they are 'Featured', you may never find enough people to run them as pugs.

Also, there was a halt put on further PC content release whilst they have concentrated on Console Roll-out. Thats 2 new platforms to roll out, and it needs a considerable amount of attention paid to it whilst they smooth out the bugs and errors, and it seems at some point that they need for console to catch up with PC, so they need to slow PC down whilst they sort out console.
