I'm not fond of any of them, not because they're bad but because they don't look "primitive" enough. All six of the proposed designs look more like something I'd expect from the Tholians or even the 31st century Starfleet than a young race making the first steps beyond their homeworld.
I was hoping the Lukari ship would be a bit more like the Enterprise NX-01: bulky, raw, not unlike speculative NASA designs. They mentioned a rotating crew section in the last blog; that would've been awesome to see. It also definitely shouldn't be T6, but I know there's not much chance of that changing. :P
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
I hope it doesn't. Looks like a cross between a Cylon raider and a Jaffa Cake.
YAY! JAFFA CAKE!
Anyways... Charlie honestly looks interesting to me. Certainly stands out compared to what we have now. Design 5 (whatever designation that will get) though feels TOO MUCH like a Son'a ship.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

A lot of the bulky industrial "low tech" style comes from the fine details. These plain "gray ipod" hullshapes inevitably look implausibly advanced here, but the finished product will hopefully have a thematically appropriate texture and details.
And they are getting help from the Alliance, so at the very least they should have proper artificial gravity without rotating sections.
Just like to remind everyone for tomorrows vote between the three choices we made from all three voting days, please vote for the round flying saucer option. Thank you
If it flew spinning around, all weapons would be Omnis.

And we have that, the APU. I called mine Gamera, two DHC in the front, rest is omni, pure polaron. Actually competes pretty well for a 3m EC ship chassis.

I will honestly be disappointed if the saucer wins in the end because don't we already have enough of those thanks to the federation? I want triangular design to win because I just think triangular designs are the most elegant of all and there is only one other ship like it is the Elachi S'Golth and we could use more ships like that. I know it's personal prefs but it's also under-represented compared to saucers and curvey shapes galore existing in this game. I want designs more to the point, literally : P
Hopefully even if it loses, we will see it eventually. Unlike the Jupiter Carrier vote, each of these ship designs are completely unique and would work extremely well as future Cryptic creations for new alien races. So it is possible that we will see the Flying Saucer for the Summer Event if it doesn't win.

And I think you might be crazy. I know I am

I liked the second one. Figures that would be the first to be voted out.
