Really a sad day when you get the steamrunner with the console for free on the console version but they want you to pay for it on the PC version. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Do they think we don't play both and wouldn't notice?
I don't play both. I bought the Steamrunner with my discretionary funds, and as a LTS, that means my expenditures this year amount to 5.5 cents a day. (Because 500Z of that was free due to Arc Quests. Eventually I will recoup the entire 2500Z for free, amortizing the total amount over a year's worth of Arc Quests. So, yes, technically, I get it for free, just like those people with their adorable little single-purpose computers.)
You do realize that we get a T5U version for that money we spend...right? And not just a T1 ship that will get mothballed after 2 hours of play. Or did you not notice that small detail?
Is that a T5 + free upgrade to T5U or just a T5 + 700 Zen for the upgrade?
STO: Where men are men and the women probably are too.
I support the Star Trek Battles channel.

The kitty was empty or i would have already purchased the steamrunner pack. Planning to do another T1 run with that starter ship.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

If you buy it during a sale, I believe you will get an upgrade Token. However the baseline T5 Steamrunner is Fleet Level.
And while some people may be ranting about it, I feel that making it available again was a good move on Cryptic's part. I got mine through the Steam pack so while it doesn't benefit me, other people are able to get it now if they want since the Steam pack was removed from Steam.
The Free T1 was an incentive for people to get on one of the consoles. And I'm sure it worked. Does it have an impact on the PC? No. Should it be considered a ripoff? No. The Consoles and PC are seperate entities. Should we be ranting and raving about how PC's being discriminated against because the Keldon isn't in its own lockbox? I don't think so. Most of the things in the console's first lockbox we already got long ago. While I would have thought a new lockbox with the Keldon would have been a great opportunity to expand the Spiral Wave Disruptor arsonnel to more than just beam arrays was a wasted opportunity (and would have given all Cardassian NPC ships consistant weapons like the Hirogen are using Destabilizing Tetryon), it is what it is.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Also, how much free stuff has Cryptic given PC players this year? A lot, including several ships.

It's a :lieutenant level ship is all. Replaced when you get to level 10
Nope something else you probably have to spend money on too.

He's talking about the Steamrunner we got on Xbox. It was a Tier 1 and was most likely replaced by the first free ship we got at Tier 2.
