The Great Tribble Hunt is an event of great importance to the Klingon Empire. Brave warriors hunted down and destroyed the great ecological menace known as tribbles; however, the Sisko brought this menace back into existence in the future. It is now time for the warriors of the Empire to once again put down this menace and so I propose a new event: The Great Tribble Hunt.
Ground Event:
Backstory: Sela has decided to get her vengeance on the Romulan Republic by unleashing genetically modified tribbles designed to kill nanovs and epohhs thus destroying New Romulus ecology. The Federation has designed that its members will tag nanovs/epohhs to ensure their safety while Klingons and Romulans take the fight to the Sela tribbles. These tribbles emit EM fields that deflect beam weapons so only melee skills/weapons work. Feds earn EC/Dil/Marks for saving creatures from the tribbles, while Klingons and Romulans earn them for killing evil tribbles.
The basic idea is just an event that is just different and stupid fun. No grinding for uber consoles/ships/doffs, but just saving New Romulus and our epohh friends from disaster. Thoughts?

While Klingons would charge in like wolves, Romulans are depicted as more like weasels so they would have to do something sneaky instead.
Maybe even against the Klingons and Federation.
Current game mechanics mean that Fed aligned Roms would do the Fed part and Klingon aligned would do Klingon part.
-or-
Perhaps as a ground queue something like Colony Invasion but which awarded Rom Marks it might be fun, but in this scenario they must all be destroyed along with their 'handlers' (Tal-Shiar?, Sela-Grunts?, ??u pick).
Same. I'd be HELPING them take over.
So that's where the Borgified Tribbles come from, illegal critter experiments.
This is a nice idea, just please make a whole new area / planet for it. New Romulus lags far too much to make going there worth it.
Also, since this expansion is about time-travel, we could always go back in time to the tribble home-world before the Klingon's killed them all.
