It is a very dark map, the consoles and Borg bits are the only real lighting on most of it. That said, I'd take a look at your brightness calibration if you haven't already, it does look far darker than I remember it there.
On console, with the new lighting changes, that map has become overly dark, and very hard to navigate around. If you still have a torch on you from one of the previous missions, you could use that.
The idea they had with that map is that his ship is supposed to be a Romulan Warbird with Borg technology.
I actually turned up the brightness on my TV to do that mission, then turned it back down afterwards!
Something is wrong. I have done mission on some extremely dark maps and those were not the one s where you get a light like old Drozana. The last one was Abducted from the Romulan story line. I don't think it is right to turn up or down the brightness of your computer screen. It was never neccessary to do that for this game and I never had to do it for any game.
BTW, I played that mission in the blind. Again, I suppose it isn't meant to be played that way. Good job Cryptic, make something, break something.
This is during the Mind Game mission. Is the game supposed to be this dark or could my tv be dying?
There's nothing wrong with a dark map, adds atmosphere. You can always use your flashlight if you haven't disposed of it!
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Slamek probably got a hold of the lighting controls.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
I support the Star Trek Battles channel.
