K-13

I know that STOL will be bringing out K-13 for people who belong to Fleets but what about all the rest of us players who do not belong to Fleets and Like playing single? Myself I have always wondered what happen to that space station. I for one would love to be able to find it and make it my own as it were so place that we independent Ship captains can come and call are own place to get away and work on different project other that exploration. So yes I would love get my hands on K-13 and solve the mystery of what happen to it.

Then join a fleet. Fleets are part of in game content. That you chose to not participate is no different than refusing to do the Mirror Invasion event because you don't like to do STFs.

TL;DR They are not preventing you from accessing K13. You are.

    So you want a holding?

If you are willing to spend millions of dil to be able to do that without joining a fleet, then start your own 1-person fleet.

Or just join an existing fleet, most of them do not require you to raid or do anything in a group.

If you are player who likes to play solo, I would suggest joining a fleet that allows that. Everyone plays STO differently, and there are some fleets casual enough that they do not mind having solo players among them. Both my Fed and KDF fleets are fairly casual; we do not have any group-oriented objectives as a fleet, but we donate to the fleet projects when possible and help each other out. I am certain there are other fleets like this out there, so look for one, join it, and continue to enjoy STO.

    Good luck!

...or make friends in one or more fleets, so you can get a guest invite to the K-13 map. I'm pretty sure that my fleets will allow such visits; you just won't be able to avail yourself of the stores unless you are a contributing member. Many fleets have a minimum contribution requirement to access stores. You may be able to interact with the bartender or other NPC's, but I can't say for sure. :|

Valid point, I am CO of a fleet and I am a 99% solo player. I only team when a fleet mate needs help on a mission.

I find cross-fleet chat channels better for teaming.

Personally, I don't care what happened to K-13. It's a Federation station. So it's starting off as a hunk of junk in space. Hopefully, it will stay that way. At least the debris from it would sell good to a salvage yard.

I have those. I strap spacial charges to federation prisoners and fire them out of a torpedo tube at my enemies. Best use for the Federation I've ever found.
