So this has been bugging me for a bit.. Why are all the other rep items except the rep weapons jumping in rarity and lvl? I mean, its supposed to be endgame gear, half of it got better, why not the beams and ground weapons?

If you're referring to the mark and quality boost you recieve from a Temporal Recruit... It only applies to the PROJECT requiring gear. Not the rep store/random box gear. So you will get a Mk XIII UR Counter Command Bio-Molecular Rifle, but not a basic Bio-Molecular Phaser Array you can get from the rep store or from the box you can get for marks.

Because Reputation Store items are a lot cheaper than Reputation Project items. 7,500 dilithium for a Reputation Store Ground Weapon compared to 9,000 dilithium, 500 Marks, 5 Elite Marks, and 40,000 Energy Credits for a Reputation Project Ground Weapon. Reputation Store Space Weapons cost more for Dilithium, but they still don't have all the other requirements. Another reason is that you can get a bunch of Reputation Store Space Weapons by doing the daily or hourly project. So essentially, making Reputation Store equipment available in the Ultra Rare Mk XIII variant would make us skip in a step in upgrading our equipment resulting in less $ for Cryptic.
