Ok, I've asked this repeatedly in the 23c sector space, but no one ever says ANYTHING there (most unsocial zone ever). Thus I ask here.
Is there a reason there's a modern (ie 25c) starbase in the 23c zone? It's near the edge of the orion sector, about 4 boxes up from the bottom (sector I-4, roughly).

K-13 was at Deneva. the AoY mission "Painful Omens" takes place there. The "Unexplored Territory" you are thinking of was used for "Tangled Web".

Unlike SB39 and SB24 it has some extra projections extending out around the... spire? Shaft? Vertical thing? But the basic style is there, with almost all of 39's features and a few bits tacked on.
Edit: Anybody wants to take a look, two grid squares right and three up from the Coridan system, there's one yellow dot in the grid square and it roughly corresponds to where the station is hanging in open space.

With holo emitters in guest quarters to mask, as that would be a violation of temporal directive.
