It won't. There's no character-transfer between the platforms.

In fact, nothing is shared between PC and consoles. No subscription, purchases, unlocks, characters. Nothing can be transferred, and Cryptic has said this will not change.

well this is stupid if they think i'm going to pay for on the playstation what i already have on the PC their idiots
no, you are kind of an entitled TRIBBLE to assume that your account would be cross platform. If you like the stuff you have, continue playing on PC. If you don't like it on PC, why the hell did even play that long?
Also, Cryptic is not forcing you to play on PS4 now, or do they?

They think PC players can keep playing on PC, instead of ruining the experience for all those new accounts that have never played the game before and have yet to earn their first Dilithium, Zen or EC.

Other gaming companies allow for accounts to be shared between PC and console. It's reasonable for people to assume this would be the case for STO.
Do these other games also have the game on one platform for 6 years, with people amassing incredible amounts of in game resources? on that platform?

What game companies allow for accounts to be shared?
The only game I can think of was Elder Scrolls Online. It was a one time transfer, only available to certain people, and only happened because they delayed the console version.

kind of a weak statement if you can't show an example...and since I actually looked a little into it, the only possible examples had rather limited transfer possibilities or were on consoles of the same company. (like PS3 to PS4)
A few games have offered transfers or sharing, most have not. There is no "standard" either way. SWTOR allows single-character one-way transfers between their servers but charges $20 per character.
Cryptic is under no obligation to offer account sharing or account transfers.

To be fair, DC universe online fully ports your account to ps4.
ahm, I did a little google search and it is not a cross platform port, but what I read was a PS3 to PS4 transfer.

Too bad it's not a good game.
It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪
I had fun with it when it first came to Xbox One -it got boring pretty fast lol
