Warbird science build

I do not know if the warbirds continue to have more science consoles or not.

Would like to start using control and drain. Will use beams, probably a torpedo.

Is the science ultimate a must? If so, how many points in science to I need? 26?

Will go heavy science, and probably more engineering than tactical. What tactical would you say are must haves? I will probably have a half dozen of them?

Are science vessels generally tanky?
I would like to put some into hull, but not sure if I should use hull Regen if I have good enough shields.

What weapons are best for long range shooting?

Anyway, Lots of questions

Thanks,

ultimate? no, I never use em.

tanky? not in has alot of hull sense but with enough heals and polarize hull most should be pretty nice.

range is not problem all weapons have the same range. long range targeting sensors to limit the dmg fall off your good to go.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

There are warbirds with 5 SCI consoles, like the Flambard. If you're using energy weapons, try to get the shield absorb console(From Valdore) and the rep trait that heals your hull, and healing is rarely an issue. since you mention going control, torpedo spread is gonna be one of the best tac options for you. technically, torps are great for long range due to not having a damage drop off.
