What class is your favorite and play the most?
I was wondering and trying to figure out the ratio of classes that are played the most. Tactical clearly are the most played but I wasn't sure how many play the others as a so called "main" If I had to guess it looks like out of every ten players 5-6 are tacs with rest being split between eng and sci.
I play an Engineer as my most played favorite class with Tactical being my second favorite.

I like the different kit sets and powers on the ground, and the different ship types in space. In space it's 90% the ship, but it's still fun to use Photonic Fleet, Miracle Worker, etc. for a little extra flavor.
In space I got A LOT of power to juice up all my systems with, and I got one of the best heals in the game and a couple of other nice powers to play with.
On ground I can bunker up and build an impenetrable perimeter and hold a position, and turn my away team into an Artillery Team that can reign down destruction upon all.
(Oh come on people, it's the game.)

As of yet though, I've set up both, my main sci and eng toons rather offensively (ground), thanks to all the funny and impressively useful toys from the reputations, winter & summer events and various lock boxes.
I do however intent to create some more class related appropriate kits as good as it gets, at some point in time. An aggro drawing threat beast engineer with supportive fabrications for healing/ suppressive fire & a highly specialized healing /debuffing scientist. I'm just not bored enough with my current toy kits right now and don't know where to start really, but I am looking forward to fiddle my way through, just like with any other little or complicated thing in the world of STO
KDF - 2T, S, E
ROM - T, S, E (all Fed aligned)
FED - 2T, 2S, E
TOS - S
But I play Science mostly. Right now, other than for the Mirror Event I have been playing my TOS Science almost exclusively since the week after the start of the Temporal Recruit Event.
l don't know.
l really don't know what l'm about to say, except l have a feeling about it.
That l must repeat the words that come without my knowledge.'
2 Science
1 Tactical
Protonic Kool-Aid Down The Drain Cruiser
Immortal BOff Skills combo for Ground

In space though engineering is pretty good but then again almst any class can do the tankdumbdps role.
I have a lot of characters but the 'main' would be Light, which is a Tactical officer but I enjoy Science a lot too as well, I created my 23rd Century Temporal Agent to be a Science Character. I enjoy the other class to aka Engineer but I would need to know the in and outs of that class before I level one up fully since I hate ground combat... >.>
Then I have my Delta - Fed Tac/ Lib Borg
Then I have my Aoy - Fed Tac/Vulcan
Then my secondary mains are a Fed Engi, and Fed Aligned Rom Tac
I've got a good mix. And like all the classes.
I've also got a bunch of KDF alts, but really don't play them much, I'd love too, but my Feds keep me way to busy;
KDF Reman Tac
KDF Gorn Tac
KDF Orion Girl Tac
KDF Klingon (melee character) Tac
My poor KDF's languish in the wings, as my Fed's get all my attention and eat up all my playtime.
Hence why I don't like these recruitment events lol.
Just too much to take on.
I can barely muster the strength to power through with my AoY... The story arcs are too much of a grind to repeat over and over on the number of alts I have.
Like last night on my AoY, I had to play "Operation Gamma" twice, because the temporal probe was impossible to find the first pass through.. wasted like 40 mins looking for it before I gave up. Thankfully found it on my second run. But yeah..
Its things like this that make me wish I only had 1 or 2 toons.
I still enjoy flying sci ships more than anything else though. In my opinion the class of your captain maters not to how you play, it's the ship that is most important.
I'm still casually working on my Rom-fed Sci delta recruit who's nearly Main status but on a budget, and a bit on Rom-kdf Tac cause it feels more Romulan being away from Feds.
Just wish my Rom-fed Sci was KDF aligned instead, and that I had an extra Reman Sci-KDF aligned. I refuse to delete my AoY to free up the Character slot gifted to us as I can see them making specific future bonuses that require AoY toons or Delta Recruits.
All this alignment nonsense would have saved so much trouble if they finished the Rom faction.
Main account
6 Sci - Fed, Rom-fed DR, 1 AoY alt, 2 Fed alts, 1 Orion Sci alt
4 Tacs - Rom-fed, Orion, Rom-kdf alt, Fed DR alt
Alt acount
2 Eng - Rom-fed, Orion (unless she's a Sci, rarely play on this account)
1 Sci - Rom-fed alt
-Lord Commander Solar Macharius
Tactical/Engineer would be awesome and just like Kirk was.
