Hi all,
I haven't played in quite a while, and am trying to get back into the game. I've just given Agents of Yesterday a shot, and to my dismay, I've been returned to the normal timeline after barely a few hours of game-play. I picked this expansion up for something different, not as a glorified alternate start mod... so, I have to ask; is there a way to get back to the past? Will I be forced to level with 25th century missions? If so, I don't really get why there are even 23rd century tier ships...
-Thanks all!

nope... the new "faction" is a 6 mission alternate tutorial for feds.... The up side is you keep a lot of 23c visuals and effects even after becoming a normal feddie
For story purposes, my AOY character returned to the 23rd century a different way; long story short, he went into the Kelvin Timeline, after his KT self had died in a battle and he took his place. So he finally got his wish to return to his own time (kinda) without compromising the prime timeline. That's why I went with a KT theme for him, with the Kelvin Connie and the KT uniforms and weapons.
that event is over, now its just an alt-tutorial
I'm not too interested in keeping the visuals, as all I'll be able to think is "wow, I'm incredibly outdated now. Maybe I should take up spear-chucking."
Thanks anyway, folks.
just be glad you weren't here when we were all waiting for the release and some people expected Gecko to actually deliver on his "at least as much of a faction as Romulans" line.
