I'd say don't waste your money. The lts ships aren't exactly that great. And the perks aren't really worth the $200+ dollars.

The Romulan vet ship looks pretty awesome though. But yeah, from a gameplay perspective they're nothing special and certainly not worth so much money.

The rest depends on how many characters you plan to have. You get a lot more inventory and bank space for example, if you'd had to unlock this on each character separately and you plan to have, say, 5 characters (3 of each career in one faction, plus one in each other major faction) then it can be worth it to buy the LTS, to avoid high service costs for each character.

Boff and ship slots and such aren't really worth it imo as you only need so many Boffs and because you can only use one ship at any given time, but extra inventory and bank slots are almost a must-have if you ask me.

    A bit of elaboration:

If I weren't a Lifer, I would buy the extra inventory slots at least 3 or 4 times, and probably also at least one, perhaps two extra sets of bank slots.

Which means that I would have to spend somewhere near 2000 zen on each character just to have these basic services. If I had only one character, then it's obviously best to just buy these things for that one character. If I have 5 characters or more, then I'm looking at up to half the cost of a LTS and that's just what I consider the basic services needed to enjoy the game without worrying about my inventory halfway each mission.

Given that you get a lot more than just these basic services if you're a LTS, I would say that it is worth it. Yes, it's a huge sum of money but it makes things so much easier since you get all the necessary stuff on each character as an account wide unlock basically.
But then I am of course assuming that you would want these basic services cheaply and that you will have more than one character. And that the other lifer benefits are at least slightly of interest to you.
