At Last :D

My temporal Agent has finally completed all of his reputation systems and unlocked the mk13 ultra rare gear and now I just need to grind a few more elite marks for my iconian ground gear. Oh man what a grind it has been for my poor temporal agent lol ^^;

It is not too bad provided that you have unlocked the Sponsorship token for every reputation on your Temporal Agent.

    Cool thing op, congratulations.

I also managed to fulfill the last of the 85 recruitment tasks over the weekend. Took me like two month in which I only played my recruit instead of my other toons.

All in all I judge the event to be fine and worth it, still it’s an undertaking I would not want to do more than once every two years or so.

    Congratz.

Yeah it can take a while... I should be able to finish it tomorrow or the day thereafter. Sponsorship certainly makes a difference, I had most reputations completed a week ago or so, still waiting for the last Temporal projects to complete.

I think it's well worth it though. In fact, it's the only recruit bonus I'm really interested in. I already have enough starship traits and Doffing to complete commendations so you can get more Doffs seems somewhat... pointless to me. If Doffing were an important part of my gameplay activities, it might be interesting but nowadays they're not that interesting anymore imo.

But an increased level AND rarity of whatever reputation stuff you buy? That's certainly worth it to grind a few reputations for a couple of weeks :)

I've been focussing on just getting temporal done, so that I can unlock sponsorship for my main and other alts... and I'm going to spam them with temporal marks from the account reward system.

honestly, this time around it wasn't too much of a grind, since you get almost all the marks you need from the boxes while leveling and if you had a delta recruit you got boxes from that too...there was also risa inbetween to collect temp marks from bird selling, then there was the mirror event for the rest of the needed marks.
All in all I only think I did 3-4 of the "new" temporal marks queues.
But the MKXIII ultra rare upgrade for ALL chars is almost too much of a price for this event.

3 more days for me :)

    Congratulations.

Those Doffs are very worthwhile. The VR ones include equivalents of some that go for very high prices on the Exchange - Graga Mal and Zemok Jenro. The Epic one boosts XP and Specialization XP accruals. You can slot that guy on the Ground and it will count for all sources, Space or Ground.

Finished up the last task last week, the same day I completed the Mirror Invasion Event. Be sure to have each of your non-Temporal alts claim the Reputation Account-wide Mk XIII UR project.

Too bad that they are now only working on Kit and Module Upgrades on Tribble. I don't think they will go back and unlock those for future Projects at the Mk XIII UR level when that Upgrade change is released.

All in all a very worthwhile recruitment Event.

My AoY motivation died at the end of the romulan arc...still SO much more story content to get through... ugh. I really don't want to do it anymore tbh.

But my Reps are all tier 5 at least, R&D is coming along.
The MU event really ate up my time to continue doing the story missions. One or 2 MU in a day and I'm done.

Can't play for more then an hour or 2 a night. Maybe Ill get back to my AoY story missions tonight. But I'm never doing one of these recruitment events ever again.

Pointless grind, for meager rewards. No thanks.

If you have a sizeable Admiralty and can reslot often you'd be surprised how quickly you can get Spec Points. My Temporal Recruit has three full (Temporal, Intelligence, and Pilot) and is about half way through Commando. After getting all three Campaigns to 10, I concentrate on the Federation Campaign as those Missions have pretty high XP payouts and the 10 for 10 gives you another two Spec Points.

On a busy day you could end up with 45-55 Ships in Maintenance though.

The Tour of Duty Missions also award a load of XP. I don't neglect getting Tour Missions and other high XP Missions from the other two Campaigns as well.

With the Temporal Recruit Account-wide Reward you get a 20%Bonus on the XP awarded from Admiralty Missions. Slot the Epic Barrett Doff from the Temporal Commendation Account-wide which provides a 5% Bonus on XP and you're really cooking.

Yes, focusing on admiralty missions that reward xp is a great way to go. Focusing on the federation tour of duty missions also grants an extra spec point for each one completed. Focusing on admiralty has allowed me to fill every spec tree.

Have they fixed the bug where you don't get accolade/costume unlocks from the Mk13 UR ground sets?
  • ltminnsltminns Member Posts: 12,573 Arc User
I bought the Omega Ground set at UR XIII for my Temporal Recruit and the Costume was unlocked. I have the Omega Force Operative Accolade listed as completed. The Omega Force Recruit, at this stage we can never get, as that is reserved for Mk X versions of that gear. As to any other sets, I don't know because none of my characters has purchased anything since UR XIII was unlocked.
