Just used xbox 360 controller for the first time but it made my hud vanish! Please Help!

I plugged in an XBox 360 controller today and tested out the default key binds. Everything else worked well and felt like the console version but when I hit the back button the interface completely vanished! I can open up the Esc menu but that's it. All keyboard, mouse, and controller inputs still work so I need to know if there is a keybind that toggles the hud on and off.
EDIT: I managed to close the game from the task manager and booting back in the interface is back. I haven't pressed the back button on the controller yet. Can anybody tell me what is default bound to the back button so I don't do this again?
