the aptch notes say there is a holographic spock? how did i miss THAT?

    Its a convention reward from Startrek mision NY you get 7 holographic TOS characters. Was announced in the blogs a while ago.

    Star trek las vegas convention from a few months ago.

    Too bad one can't get any of those. A trip to a convention in NY is a bit more expense than I would have cared to take for holos.

    Yeah, would love to get those boffs to round out my TOS toon, saw there is a Star Trek convention in San Francisco in December and surely Cryptic will be all over that.
    But...is time off of work, round trip airfare and lodging worth those convention boffs? No. Will have to hope one comes upin my neck of the woods.

    I'm curious what careers some of those are. Like Uhura, Chekov, Sulu, and Rand, are they Eng, Tac, or Sci?
    Also, what traits do these boffs have. They are not on the wiki yet.

    If there is a convention near you, you can go to it dressed up in Star Trek stuff, take a photo, and send it to laughingtrendy on twitter or reddit and she will give you a code. It may be a few days, but she has confirmed that a code will be given to you.

    Does it have to be "Official Star Trek convention" specifically? Or can it be more general like Wizard World Comic Con or Destination?

    Would be nice if there was some other way on getting the boffs. Like an essay writing contest, or sending flowers to Trendy, or treats to the Devs.

    It doesn't seem to actually work. I've heard several others have the same problem. The codes might have run out or something.

    Very interesting to see Uhura and Rand are Eng whereas Chekov and Sulu are Tac.

    There are no Star Trek conventions in Chile, unless i create one.. and i dont have the resources for something like that (i would love to)

    Just to double check that I'm doing this right, I went to the Cherry Hill con two weekends ago. And got a pic of me there (with Shatner no less). I shared it with Trendy on twitter. By tweeting it to her. Is that the right way? And I should give it some time as they're all out at the New York Star Trek event right?

    I really would dig the Holo BOFFs.

    I sent Trendy a picture of me on Twitter from a convention about three weeks ago, and a message here. No response of any kind. Seems very unlike her. I guess the team has been super busy?

    I hope to get a response eventually. This would make a TOS junior fossil like me very, very happy.

    Run out of codes?

    Theyre digital merchandise. Can't they just go to their special dev computer and generate more codes?
    I hear the PWE marketing dept has the capability of making their own special codes behind Cryptic's back, I.E. gold nagus marader. They can borrow their code making machine.

    Got a code from the Star Trek Mission in New York...didn't realize til I got home how sought after these were. As an aside, thanks for posting the stats. I only had enough space to commission Uhura and Scotty.

    Well apart from my photo from another con... my best hope is probably to try and get to Destination in Brum next month and hope STO are there for me to pick one up in person... but they've been seriously tight-lipped about it and none of the devs on Twitter have responded to the question.

    Last time we had development team on this side of the pond was when Branflakes came over.
