Do you think one of the events during the TCW is have Slamek return, maybe he gets the Na'kuhl to prevent the Romulans from having ever somehow gotten the upper hand against them?
Well, we never see what happens to Slamek, he might still be kicking.
The only way I ever want to see Slamek again is if I can give him the Hakeev treatment - blaster bolt through the skull.
Now, now...Hakeev might might have broken Slamek to the point of making him do anything, Hakeev is one of those experts, and probably enjoys administering torture.
There's that, and seeing other events the temporal liberation front could mess with, like in the past of different species.(something I mentioned in a previous thread)
Not to mention, the Deferi Surah's catchphrase portion ", All things in time" could be a Chekov's gun.

'Holoconditioning' I think gets mentioned in one of the logs for poor Slamek - and Romulan captains know how devastating that can be to your free will. Slamek's a victim (with really bad luck for how much trouble he gets into)
Fate - protects fools, small children, and ships named Enterprise Will Riker

What about seeing Na'kuhl or other temporal faction target more than just the last few centuries, maybe they mess with early Klingon sailors, or the first Bolian computer programmers?
Alternate concept, is that they find what happened during TNG episode "Genesis" and use primitive versions of Player, and NPC, species against us.
