Something I noticed about the Veangence

Despite using the exact same equipment, traits, power levels etc while floating around ESD the Vengence gets 500 more dps out of each DHC then my arbiter and I cant for the life of me figure out why. Its making a big difference in my DPS once I start amping up the damage with attack patterns and such and was just curious If anyone knew what was causing it.

    When you say "equipment" are you including the consoles? Just wondered if you are you using phasers and/or photons and are benefitting from having a second Kelvin console?

    yes weapons cons traits skills power levels and doffs. everything is identical to my arbiter build exept powers and even then that shouldnt change anything. Im talking about the Level of dps each cannon sits at naturally while floating around ESD. the arbiter is at around 1400 per cannon while the Vengence is sitting ataround 2000 thats a realy big jump and I cant figure out the cause. Best guess the vengence has some inherant buff to weapon damage the arbiter lacks but thats a really big leap in dps for a built in buff

    Yes both ships are using phased biomatter with the quantum phase three pice set and the kelvin two pice bonus

    Try firing for longer and see if this accounts for deviations from norm.

    im not firing the weapons at all. Im going off of the numbers the game provides while hovering over the weapon icons in the button trays in orbit around esd though my damage meter also agrees that cannon damage from the veangence is much higher then that from the arbiter

    Are you after-modifications weapon power levels the same on both ships?

    See for yourself. The only differemce in gear is the arbiter loses an rcs accelerator and a threat con for its unique consoles. I dont see them effecting dps but i tried putting those cons back on anyway and diddnt see any change

    Interesting. The Vengeance also has slightly more shield power.

    ...Oh. Check the starship mastery I-IV bonuses.

    already thought of that. non of vengeance mastery traits increase damage. just criticals

    I don't have a Fleet Arbiter, but copying over my Vengeance loadout minus the plasmonic leech onto a regular Arbiter I'm seeing the same damage numbers on both ships. Very strange. My first guess would be someone nearby buffed you, but that would be erratic.

    The seats aren't exactly the same. Maybe there was a Boff that gave a bonus?

    Also, in the Arbiter picture you have override subsystem safeties on cooldown - so you may have been strongly debuffed at that moment.

    Threat reduction console. Not sure if those can have a [Phaser] tag or not.

    science con has drain and as for buffs debuffs I came strait from ESD groound so none would of been in effect. besides I just checked and the numbers are still the same

    OK facepalm moment. After the update to captain skills half my loadouts got messed up and I had to redo them. I only got round to fixing my arbiters loadouts recently and thats when I noticed the numbers were off. Turns out I accidently loaded the weapon cons for my antiproton build on the phaser loadout and the phaser cons on the antiproton loadout and because the cons look the same I didnt notice.

    I feel very silly right now

    Wait how are you equipping kelvin timeline consoles to your arbiter? There also seems to be one different console in your engineering slot I don't recognize?

    kelvin cons can be equiped on any ship and the con you are refering to is one of the arbiters two unique cons
