Ouroboros....is it just me or...

Is this ship reeeeeeeeealy slow compared to other raiders? I gotta say I LOVE the ship. It's the only truly viable raider I've been able to use in advanced STFs. It has teeth for dps and enough slots for heals to keep it up and going without a single death despite drawing a lot of fire.

HOWEVER, it feels like I'm flying in CONCRETE compared to my Klink birds of prey or my fed pilot ships (well THAT may not be a fair comparison but still). I've tried swapping out my impulse engines, I even put on an elite fleet with x2 speed and it still felt slow. Short of increasing engine power (which I really don't need to do with my flow, drain skills maxed and a leech) I'm at a loss...other than I'm just a little nuts and it truly isn't as slow as the other raiders.

Thoughts?

    Hm it has the same impulse modifier as the Tadaari and Baltim raiders, the only raiders I'm really familiar with. Those are not really slow to me but of course you might be used to faster ships than I am.

    Perhaps you were using different traits in your other ships? Like the Delta rep trait that adds flight speed? Or perhaps you were using that console from the Delta Flight episode before?

    Looking at the ship stats, I don't think it should be that much slower compared to other raiders.

    I notice that the temporal abilities, which are abundant at the moment, still lower the FPS.
    Most ships feel sluggish in queued content lately.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    You know that could be it. It would make sense because I feel the same way risian4 does. Looking at the numbers this ship should be and feel FAST. It...just...doesn't....

    I've found of late in many queues the ships are all slower then normal. Not just the new ships but pretty much all of them. My Vorgon Heavy escort seems to be in ACME glue in most queues yet around DS9 and all its a hot rod.

    It is much slower because it doesn't have OSS. No intel slots. My power levels are way lower on this ship than the baltim and tadaari. I tried using aux2bat instead but it just isn't the same.

    "It's the only truly viable raider I've been able to use in advanced STFs" - It's definitely not the only viable raider. My baltim and tadaari raiders are much better than this temporal ship. I just haven't been able to get as much out of it. It's slower overall and the temporal abilities come up short IMO. They aren't even as good as slotting old tac abilities like APB or kemo.

    I think speed has had a behind the scenes nerf - as in you go the same impulse but your ship travels visually slower - on my 100+ impulse ships, I've noticed they feel a lot slower visually - the impulse value is the same yet the ship feels slower

    As much as I hate it, its possibly to make the xblock and ps4 versions run better as I doubt I'd be the only one to strain the game via speed (on a different note, impulse cell got a stealth nerf...it used to be a 3x speed multiplier...now it adds a set amount)
