Ship Selector is getting mental

We have so many T6 (and T5) ships that using the ship selector (and those tabs on the c-store) are getting difficult to use. There aren't enough filters to find the ships you want and that is even without the promo ships. Is no one else having this problem?

First it would be good to divide T5/T6 and their fleet counterparts to limit the numbers. And then allow you to filter by manner of purchase (EC, dilith, zen etc.). Maybe someone else has a better idea, but the number of ships is only going to go up. I hope while working on the console UI they had some bright idea to sort out the ship selector.

T6 filter includes T6 fleet so no that doesn't really help.

I wish the selector would blank-out ships already purchased from the list for each particular toon.
(then put them back if discharged)
That would help a little bit.
