I always thought it's a shame they never went back to add unqiue rep weapons for the Omega reputation. Instead of antirproton ground we could get rotating frequency phasers for space and ground
which make it difficult for Borg to adapt (basically reuse of the [Borg] proc).

"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou
But I don't like the interpretation of Section 31 as a legitimate intelligence agency in service of the Federation.
I doubt anyone is Star Fleet would call House Pehg a legitimate agency in the service of the Federation, and yet that's who calls the shots for the Terran counter-offensive. We're using weapons designed to drill through Federation shields and kill Federation troops. I mean there's not even a nudge and a wink about what that gear was intended for.
The defining characteristics of the Reputation tracks is power and common interest. I think Section 31 would be mostly offended at being lumped in with the Feddie-bears. They do their own thing and they have the resources to help you help yourself. They've found a problem, they need manpower to address it, and they've got the incentive package to go with it. If you don't like them, think of it as infiltrating them and turning over their tech to legitimate offices .

It would be nice in ground types, but since in space the borg do not adapt really than it is kinda redundant. Though a rework of the borg in space to make them use a mechanic of stacking buffs an debuffs, and then reworking the omega rep to have foound out about this new fact of the borg adapting to the tactics the fed/KDF/Rom have used against them. THe mechanic could use debuffs/buffs that stack up as the Borg hit certain shield types increasing their damage and/or bleed-thru on that specific type , or are hit by certain energy types it would increase their resistance to that energy type, than I could see such a weapon (an even shield) that might counter their shield effect.

We have a plain Klingon Reputation track: the Terran one.
It's the price the Federation pays for being the Majority faction. for MOST players working for the Romulans or the Klingons is a change of pace.
I already have a ground chroniton rainbow beam gun from that one mission. And I adore it.

the new one is sooooo much better
if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
Quantum Phase Catalysts from sunrise. actually as good as most rep sets. possible better if your ship with low tact.
