Several consoles do boost hull regen, and I believe there are some that boost hull strength. If you are having an issue keeping your hull up perhaps look at boosting or changing the types of shields you use. Shields are the first line of defense against enemy weapons. Also could use different armor consoles to boost resists.
If you've been away for several years, things have REALLY changed. For the better, imo. With the upgrade system you can take a blue mk XI console and make it purple Mk XII or better with relatively little investment.
Honestly, without knowing more about your build its tough to know how to advise. If I had to guess I'd say you are flying T5 escort which are good ships, however with the new endgame missions they are a bit lacking in hull strength. If you have the resources just try some stuff, that's what I do. Also, Reputation Traits can help a bit in this area as well. Although they are passive and may not seem worth the investment, I can speak from experience Toons without rep traits do not do well has well at endgame ( especially in the Delta Quadrant missions) than toons with rep traits.
If you want to post some more details about your builds, than perhaps someone here can suggest some changes,
Just a note* I've been playing since open Beta, but am by no means an " expert". Hope this helps.

You can also select Traits for hull buffs, like "Bulkhead Technician" (among others). This goes for shield strength and regeneration as well. Some deflectors provide hull & shield buffs, as well as some warp/singularity cores (the Kobali core, for example), RCS (resist all) or armor consoles. The SIF generator also regenerates hull. Once you get a T5U or T6 ship, one or more of the mastery levels is usually a hull buff, depending on the ship. Accolades also give a small amount of bonus to ship performance, and you can find an exhaustive list of these on the Wiki as well. Happy hunting!

There are many ways to improve Hull Capacity and also Hull Regeneration so that you can survive longer. It includes a mix of player skills, gear and traits.

    Player Skills:

There are basic Lieutenant level skills that increases your hull capacity and hull restoration. Hull capacity is simple, the more points you devote to it the higher your hull capacity. Hull restoration improves the amount hull points healed when you use abilities like Engineering Team, Hazard Emitter and Auxiliary to Structural. There are also shield capacity and shield restoration skills as well which affects your shields.

Commander level skills can improve hull plating which is armor against energy weapons an kinetic damage. Damage control affects the passive regeneration of your hull. Similarly for shields there are shield hardness which helps reduces damage to the shield itself and there is shield regeneration which increases the passive regenerate rate of your shields.

    Gear:

There are a lot of gear that can help increase hull capacity and armor to reduce damage. Too many to list individually. Some can be purchased from the Exchange, some are featured mission rewards and others are from the reputation system. Ship gear obtained from featured missions (certain newly released missions) and the reputation system cannot be sold on the Exchange. Therefore, the only way to get them is to either play the mission or grind the reputation system.

From the Exchange probably the best gear to purchase are Conductive RCS Accelerator (+turn rate / shield hardness when using heal abilities) and the Exotic Particle Field Exciter (+exotic damage and +shield capacity). The ultra rare versions one of many modifiers. The mod that you want is [ResAll] which combines the [ResA], [ResB], and [Kin] resistances; "A" and "B" refers to two different sets of energy weapons while [Kin] is for kinetic damage. Just be warned these are expensive consoles so you may want to save up a lot of EC and keep an eye on their prices in the Exchange. For example, over this past weekend I saw 5 ultra rare Conductive RCS Accelerator Mk XIV [ResAll] selling for less than 15 million EC, they were selling for less than the Mk XII version. I bought all of them because 5 of my captains can use that console and they were definitely bargains... However, I am thinking about relisting them on the Exchange at a higher price like 30 million+. Maybe even upgrade then to epic quality and then relisting them for even more EC. The Exotic Particle Field Exciter with [ResAll] are generally more expensive than the Conductive RCS so that might not be an "economical" purchase if you are not using any abilities that causes exotic damage.

Also from the Exchange, look for Positron Deflector Dishes, by default they improve your hull capacity. Additionally, look for ones with the [HullCap] which increases your ship's hull points. Also look for [ShCap] which increases shield capacity; I think deflectors can have [ShCap]x2. Lastly there is [Em] which improves shield healing abilities.

Below is a link to the Kobali Regenerative Circuitry space set. It is probably the best set for tanking that can be obtained from a past featured mission; Dust to Dust which is part of the Delta Rising story arc. Note that the Kobali Field Stabilizing Warp / Singularity Core can only be obtained if you earned the 2015 Anniversary Event starship, the Kobali Samsar Cruiser. Scroll all the way down and click "Show" next to Space Set to expand the section for all space gear that can be obtained from featured missions, the reputation system, and crafting. The Aegis set can be crafted or purchased from the Exchange. You will need to obtain the appropriate duty officers to craft the various pieces of the Aegis set. They can be purchased from the Exchange for millions of EC assuming to Google their names, or by going to the Recruiting Officer at the Academy and use 2,000 refined dilithium to purchase an R&D crafting material box that has a slight chance of awarding you a Doff in a specific crafting school. You will also need to level up the specific crafting school to at least level 15 (max is level 20) to even attempt to craft an Aegis piece. The higher the crafting school level, the better your chances of being successful... It's easier to simply buy the pieces from the Exchange if you can afford to pay several million for each piece of the Aegis set. Is it worth you EC? In my opinion, no. But others may have a different opinion.
