So, everyone mission I do I try and get all the anomalies. I feel like the mission is incomplete if I don't, but on Facility 4028 when you first talk to the warden and extend the walkway to go chat with a prisoner, there's another walkway that is extended but the hallway has a forcefield in front of it and it has an anomaly down the hallway. I've tried coming back to it later on when you're trying to regain control of the prison, but still no dice.
Question, is this a bug or is this something other players have found the answer to and I'm just not clever enough?

Nah. Just finished the mission. Before and after you reboot the warden, if you go up to the door for the walk way that leads to other three walk ways (this is after calming the prison riot) it will simply say that access is restricted.
With all the lockbox ships and various power creep, unless they come out with a PvP with some semblance of a level playing field, say premade ships etc... There's no point in it for me. So, frankly, I could care less about PvP maps.
It's a bug. Been like that for a couple years or so. There is no way at all to get past the forcefield to get to that crafting material node. They just put it in a bad place.
Same thing happened to a crafting material node in 1 of the Borg Advance episodes. I forget which episode, but it's under a small catwalk and you just can't get under there to access it. (I doubt they ever fixed this one. It was reported when they revamped the Borg episodes a long time ago.)
I'm wondering why you're so worried about fitting your ship down a walkway and through a forcefield...
They're talking about the "inside the facility" portion of the mission - which was designed with both an eye to being a good PvE romp and eventual conversion to a PvP map. By nature of the design, however, it would have been designated for ground PvP...
Which is still "fairly" balanced but has issues all it's own...

I think they have reworked this mission a couple of times now, not sure what they changed inside, but I sure miss the huge space furball at the end of the mission.
lol, I hope that they someday go back and rework the space cinematic at the end. It looks unpolished. Everything else about the mission, excluding the anomaly is spot on though.
Okay, okay. I'll take that. I think that the whole thing has just turned me off of PvP in general is what I meant. I mean, you add to that the Devs really aren't focused on it at all and it's just a mess. That being said, I do remember having tons of fun in Shanty Town.
