How do armor penetration things (captain skill, reputation trait, starship trait etc) affect damage resistance rating of a target?
Since armor gaining is nonlinear fixed armor penetration doesn't make sense. For example 10 armor penetration can mean both -12 drr and -110 drr.

I'd like some clarity on this as well. If armor pen is many times more effective than stacking armor, it's a gross imbalance.
