Are the account and log in servers down?

I keep getting the Can't Log In error when I select any character and try to play said toon. Keeps kicking saying it cannot log in. Login2.Timeout is the error I am getting.
What happened to those unique forum ranks I paid for?

    How long is it taking for you to get that error? Like, a minute or more? If so, it could be a problem with your internet not wanting to like things.

    The error only takes a few seconds to show after clicking play for any character. Checked my ISP, I am all good. I check STO server status and it shows that many of the servers are down. However, who knows how accurate that info is.

    Edit: Nope, no problem here. Are you using a proxy, by chance? That may be the issue. Proxy servers are by far useless.

    No proxies. I am at a loss. Everything worked well last night. Am going to try and trouble shoot the issue. Thanks for the help
