Just checked the energy drain on my Morrigu that has the 2 pice bonus of 25% energy weapon resistance and the starship trait of 25% energy weapon resistance when EPW is used. According to the tooltips the Morrigu set bonus is not reducing the weapon power drain.
With just the set piece DBBs use 10 per shot, without the set piece also 10, only the trait brings it down to 6.7, I think it should have another round of weapon power use mitigation. Stripping all other equipment from the ship doesn't remove the issue. That starship trait and set bonus come with the ship so should work together fine. Have I missed a nerf annoucement or is this a bug? Would other roms please check their morrigu/valdore/mogai sets?

I have a Fed!Romulan Tac currently flying a Faeht. But the Faeht is a bit thin on the 'ole shields and hull. I've looked at the different Romulan T6 ships and the Morrigu seems to have a thicker hull without sacrificing too much.
But what do you think? Is the Morrigu good for a Tac Captain who wants a pretty agile, fast ship that doesn't have paper-thin shield and a tinfoil hull?
To Mikto I'd say that the Morrigu is best flown with limited arc front weapons like DBB or DHCs, move, de-cloak, destroy and cloak and move again, its very different from the small fast ships that should be flown fast unless you've got super high deeps: seen a 90k+ pilot ship kinda park n shoot so it can be done. Fly low hull ships at low speeds and without killer deeps you'll die a lot. A big issue is matching your play style to build, so for flying fast work to pedal to metal, save for reciprocity etc...
Do note that this two-set technically pre-dates the Cruiser Commands, so the only reference or system to tap into would've been Nadeon Inversion. The two-set came out on day one of Legacy of Romulus expansion by combining the T3 Valdore with T5 Mogai Retrofit consoles, but Cruiser Commands came out a bit after LoR launched.
