Just curious I tried using the search feature on the forums, but it turned out to be useless and I know there was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago or so. Just wondering if the devs ever talked about the possibility or no. I want to reroll my Klink is my main reason.
Between that or a respecies, I can't see how to get it done effectively.

Anyway, for rerolling characters all you really need is a captain reskill token. Everything from appearance to traits, ships, and equipment can be changed at no cost. The reason to start another is changing professions, species, and factions but you can do that at any time. Delta recruits just have a few more bits of dialog (nothing world shattering, especially after the Iconian War arc) two cinematics (again, nothing vital), and extra resources and items. Those are nice to have but you don't need them on a main character (the important stuff is account unlocked.)
If you really want to try something else go for it now, then if recruitment does come back pick up another character just to proceed through the episodes and earn the good stuff.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
Oh yeah, that's kind of what I'm doing. I'm logging in for the anniversary ship and waiting for them to either implement a fix that I want or to do Delta Recruitment again. Actually, looks are the reason and I can't really do anything thanks to a bug. Normally though, you'd be correct in your assessment of the situation.
I was of a mind to dismiss my current daltas if they do replace the account unlocks but although I mostly use my deltas for farming I don't really want to loose the progress they have made.
more likely now to create new deltas and just discard them after the event if this happens.
chances are though if they rerun the event it will be identical to the last one account unlocks and all so just not worth the bother for me.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
