I know that a lot of Lobi is collected from buying master keys and opening lock boxes in game. However this can take an extreamly long time and is not very cost effective for the average player. My idea was that you could offer a small bonus of lobi to all Zen store ship sales kind of like a specail package deal. Example: When you buy a T-6 ship from the Zen Store the customer will recive 100 lobi or if they buy a T-5 ship they get 80 lobi and so on and so forth. This was just a small idea i had. You could use this as a sale rather then reducing the price on Zen store items.
That makes no sense, lobi is the reward from opening lockboxes ships and promo boxes.
Does any one read before they post a comment based on little or no information? I just said that... "I know that a lot of Lobi is collected from buying master keys and opening lock boxes in game."
For the love of Spock please read first.
Now as far as promo boxes and ships, i have played for 2 years and i have never recived lobi from acquiring a ship or opening a promo box. Now i may have missed a promo box here or there in 2 years but my point still stands that getting lobi takes for ever and is expensive.
Now my idea may not make sence to you and if the concept is to much for you to rap your brain around then i am sorry, But i just posted this to my entire fleet and about 65% say this would be a good idea for cutting down the time to collect lobi. Another told me that this is a good exchange for Arc/PWI because not only do we get what we want but Arc/PWI's sales will go up so the company gets what they want too.
I don't think you realize the scope of the lobi crack problem. Giving away 100 lobi for a T6 ship is worth almost more than the ship. It's 25 boxes which = around 2500 zen worth of keys.

I read your idea, you are proposing that Cryptic give you a reward for purchasing ships off the Zen store. Lobi is the consolation prize for opening lockboxes.
In regards to the promo boxes it is pretty common knowledge they drop 10 lobi or a ship. Give me a few minutes to link the announcements if you like.
I will not comment on how it will increase Cryptic sales as I do not work for Cryptic nor have access to their metrics. It is kind of funny this idea came up during a ship sale of all times.
So let me put this another way:
Lobi is a reward currency.
You should not be rewarded for purchasing ships from the zen store.

I see what you are saying, however the ammounts i posted were just an example. I am not sure how they would regulate it.
I think that is a better example and as cidjack said i don't have access to there metrics so it is realy heard to know exactly how much Arc/PWI sales would increase if something like this was to actuly happen or how much lobi per ship they would give away.
cidjack you also said "You should not be rewarded for purchasing ships from the zen store." and why do you think we shouldent? I spend my heard earned cash on this game not because i need to but because i want too, so why should i not be rewarded for spending my money here?
A small amount of lobi wouldn't be interesting enough to most players. There's only so many ships you can purchase anyway. If you get 10 lobi for a T-6 ship, you might be able to get, I don't know, maybe a couple of hundred lobi if you buy almost all ships?
A larger amount of lobi would make no sense, as, as pointed out above by @sheldonlcooper, the lobi would be worth almost as much as the ship or at least it would be worth too much in proportion to the ship's value.
Besides, you might as well just open lock boxes since adding a small amount to a T-6 ship wouldn't make that much of a difference. Did you know that, with some luck, you can get 50 lobi from one box? On average I've gotten 6-7 lobi for each box I've opened, often I would receive 7-10 and a few times 25 or even 50. If it's lobi you're interested in, lock boxes would still be the best way to get it, even if your proposal were implemented.

what if you already bought all the ships?
Then you'll likely spend so much time wondering which ship you're going to fly this time, that you shouldn't even have time to think about lobi
Just as long as you don't link to the same announcement five times.

I am not against the idea of cryptic giving some small amount of lobi as an extra incentive for players to buy any c-store items, having said that you would have to buy a shed load of stuff to gain enough lobi to get anything worthwhile unless you are prepared to open lockboxs and such to get even more lobi.
for this reason I don't see giving lobi as a sales incentive as being much of an incentive for most players.
I am reminded of the loyalty cards supermarkets used to have where you used to need to spend about $100 in store just to get a free packet of biscuits.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
An extra ship slot or dry dock slot would make more sense, since it is directly connected to your purchased ship.
Yup, while I know it would be a dip in earnings, I'd still prefer ship slot with an T6 ship bundled.
As for lobis bundled with C-Store items... not viable from financial POV to give more then just a few, probably the equivalent to one or two lockboxes' worth (if even). In which case, I'd expect majority of people getting the said item wouldn't care for getting lobis with it - this wouldn't be incentive to buy it - in which case, there's no need to add it in the first place.

I don't know. If you got, like, 3-5 Lobi for buying T2-T3 ships then it might work as an incentive for picking up older C-Store products.

T-6 = 12

T-2 = 4

Then you'll likely spend so much time wondering which ship you're going to fly this time, that you shouldn't even have time to think about lobi
Now the idea to offer small amounts of lobi for purchasing lower tied ships to encourage old ship purchases over discounting them is a good idea.

Because there's nothing special about spending one's "hard-earned money" here or anywhere.

that might be incentive for some but when I buy a ship and don't get a ship slot because I have reached the maximum allowed what incentive have a got?

Lobi is the main reason for not bringing back the FE replay event.
