Atrox and Callisto, a Love story.

Atrox was lonely, deeply lonely. Atrox had searched the known universe for his perfect match, but to no avail.
Then one day, he saw her. The perfect match to fill his heart with glee. Her name is Callisto....
Atrox saw Callisto flitting amongst the stars defending all that is right, just as Atrox does.
Callisto's beauty and grace is second to none and Atrox had to fly with her. :)
Atrox and Callisto flew together fighting evil, he nourished her shields and hull with loving embrace.
As the days adventures came to a close, Atrox and Callisto realized they could not be together, they
could not become one with each other. :neutral:
Forces in the universe would not allow it. Their union was forbidden.
Will these star crossed lovers every be together??? Will they find true happiness??? Time will tell....


So if it isn't clear, please make the Callisto Hangar Pet usable on the Atrox.
The Atrox is huge and can handle frigate pets with ease.

If not for me, then for the lovers, Atrox and Callisto. :smiley:

    I mean, don't get me wrong, it'd be neat if the Atrox had a frigate pet it could launch, too, but....

    It's huge, yeah, but it's not exactly outfitted to launch anything much bigger than fighter craft! You can plainly see the hangars adorning either side of it, and they are basically regular flight decks. Plus, the Jupiter is actually somewhat larger than the Atrox.
    As it stands, it IS the only ship that launches Stalker fighters. For whatever that's worth. So the Atrox does have a signature pet that only it can launch (as the Callistos are the signature pet of the Jupiter).

    I begged a few times for a Caitian frigate, kind of an enlarged version of the Stalker Fighter, but of course that never happened.
    As for the frigate fitting into the ship, that has been a lost cause with many of the existing frigate carriers.
    Size seems to be something not always taken into consideration when adding frigates to carriers. ;)

    The Stalker Fighters are gorgeous, but lack durability. I guess I have broken dreams, much like poor Atrox and Callisto. :(

    Well yeah, most small fighters and shuttles lack durability, hah. But back when I was maining an Atrox, I used a Stalker/Peregrine combo and usually found my Stalkers to have a higher survivability rate than the Peregrines. Mostly, I think, because of that placating weaponry they have, making them much harder to target than the much better armed Peregrines.

    I'd like to see a frigate pet of any kind for the Atrox.
    I have elite stalker fighters on mine and whenever they're not cloaked and doing nothing they are dying very quickly.

    You don't want the Callisto's.

    They're bugged and broken garbage.

    Now, if they ever actually fix them.. sure.. give them to the Atrox.. cool with me. Just don't do it like they are now. No need getting more players to waste money on the useless piles of garbage that is the Callisto Frigate.

    caitan frigates or something like stealth bombers .....
    each true carrier in game have OWN frigate pets

    It may be a fix for what you want out of a ship, it's nowhere near reasonable for what I'd want out of the ship. It's not that I'd vote against your idea being an OPTION, but it's not what would get me into the captain's chair of an Atrox. Now if there was a Caitian skin for the Callistos, then sure. But if the frigates aren't Caitian-themed, it's meh at best for me.

    I would rather see them release a escort/frigate type ship for the Ferasan of the KDF in a style an look that would fit their race, With maybe a battle-cloak an a more ambush/torpedo style of fighting in the make up of the ship trait for it. Then add this as a Frigate pet you can slot on the atrox if you own both ships on your account, kinda like how with the Caitian/Ferasan if you own both you get more options in tailoring to use for them. than I would give each ship a variant set of parts/material-look that allow them to have a look more like either a Ferasan (KDF) or Caitian ship (federation), which also if you own both ships on your account you can mix/match these parts/materials on them. Then finally i would put out a pack you can buy both the Atrox and the Ferasan escort/frigate ship in. It would be nice to show how these two similar races that share a history with each other might developed a similar ship, but then what would change to suit how they progressed into the races they are now. Also we need a branch of the Ferasan/Caitian race that is part of the Romulan faction, maybe found on New Romulus maybe in stasis, and had tied to the Iconians/Heralds an were left behind before they finished their work on them. This group i could see being really science oriented an so would be nice for the Romulan faction to bring in a third ship in the pack that is a science type ship for them.
