Rezreth Dreadnought hanger pets

So I have the Breen winter ship now. Never flown a ship with a hanger before; it's kind of fun. Is there a way to upgrade my hanger pet to the Advanced or Elite Bleth Choas Fighter?

    Yes, you can upgrade in the dilithium store in your upper right hand little window or to the fleet spire for 100,000 FC for elite. I wouldn't recommend that. If you have the breen raider you can use that as a frigate which I do recommend.

    It's not rally an "upgrade". it's more a matter of buying a better pet. But yes you can buy a better version of what it comes with.

    Ah the Dil store - thanks. I knew I had seen a place that sold hanger pets, just couldn't remember where.


    I got the Advanced Choas from the Dil store, but I don't see anywhere that has the Elite version.

    Found it, thanks. But I agree w/Sheldon - too pricey. I'll stick with the Advanced for now.

    Did you try the Spire? IIIRC that's where I got mine for my Sarr Theln. Also... what's your fleet asset tier? your tier might be too low.

    The advanced varients of the hanger pets especially with frigates are more then capable for most things unless you have the extra spare change to throw away.

    No they cannot be upgraded. You buy each level that you want.

    Elite frigates require T5 starbase access (science wing, IIRC.) M y Orion has them for her Sarr Thien (thanks Nerds of Prey), and they're quite nice. They seem to stick around for a lot longer than the advanced I've got on my octopus.

    I'm using Rare Orion Slavers atm because the Choas die too fast. My science KDF Rom is at 60 now and I'm using her to farm dil only (I want to buy my account bank unlock :smile: ).

    Are there restrictions on which pets can be loaded on which ships? For example could I use Baltim Raiders on my Rezreth Dreadnought?

    Some pets are restricted to certain ships. Like, you can't put the choas in an Obelisk hangar. You can use elite widows (available in the Nukara rep) on the Rezreth.

    Not sure which other pets are restricted and which aren't though.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    basic and advanced Swarmers are Obelisk only, Elite Swarmers(that you buy from your fleet store) can go on anything.

    You may want to double check the pets before you buy them. I remember that when I bought the Elite Mobulai pets for my Xindi-Aquatic carrier, they turned out to be only slightly better (if anything better at all) than the advanced version.

    They have, for example, no extra hull and although I didn't see any detailed parses for the different pets that I could compare, a first glance at some in-game battle logs showed very little improvement.

    Yeah I was disappointed to discover the Advanced Choas had no more hull than the regular Choas. And that info is listed not in the Wiki. :/

    @markhawkman I am fairly certain that Obelisk Swarmers work with any ship regardless of level. I have some on a command ship and they're advanced at best; our fleet doesn't have the elite ones.

    The Advanced ones you received from the hidden consoles from 'Sphere of Influence' are only good on the Obelisks. The Advanced and Elite from the Spire can be used on any Carrier.

    Unless you purchase Elite Scorpions or Elite Widows from the Reputation Projects all Elite will run 100,000 Fleet Credits and about 40k Dilithium (the cost will vary on Dilithium Discounts provided by the Fleet Mine Holding and from the Armada).

    Restricted pets have that red text in the tooltip listing what ships they're for. Generally, this includes all frigates and some fighters that come from specific ships (like the Breen fighters). Some pets, such as the Obelisk Swarmers, may be restricted or not depending on whether you bought them from a store or got them for free. Check the relevant store. The Romulan/Nukara reputation pets are unrestricted.

    If you're not sure, always check the description before buying a hangar.

    I'd like to get the (Adv) Plesh Brek Raider, but sounds like I'm out of luck since I didn't grind for any Breen ships before now. :/

    Do they ever offer other ways of acquiring older event ships?

    Nope. The only one that has "come back" was the 2014 Anniversary Event's DSD. A short while after the event ended, the ship went into the Lobi Store for 500 or so Lobi. Cryptic doesn't recycle event ships, hasn't done so for a little while now.

    Anniversary Event:
    2014 - DSD
    2015 - Samsar

    Summer Event:
    2014 - Risan Corvette
    2015 - Ferengi Nandi

    Winter Event:
    2014 - Breen Sarr Theln
    2015 - Breen Dread

    The next event coming is the 2016 Anniversary Event which should be in the 1st quarter of the year. Expect a completely new ship.

    Yeah according to the Wiki to be able to even buy this hanger pet I would need both the 2014 ship (Sarr Theln) and the 2013 ship (Plesh Brek Heavy Raider). Since I didn't, I'm SOL. :/

    Kind of disapointed that it came with only one hanger. Seems that to me a dred should have at least 2. Shrug other then that its pretty good very tanky.

    Every other dreadnought in the game has only a single hangar bay, though. Minus the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier, which is naturally, also a carrier (so it has two).
