Does it seem to anyone else like STO is a little bit lost? We have some kooky temporal stuff that fits in well with the TV show continuity, but in what direction is that going? The mirror universe arc isn't much of an arc besides them invading like they always do. What do we have to look forward to?

Also they should be looking at some of the GOOD old missions they removed to find ways to reintroduce it to the game.
(looking at you Captured by Hirogen mission and the one with Q and wolf 359, also Undine arc anyone?)
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
Yeah its getting tiresome having people forget which Q is the one sitting in ESD right now.

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
Well if its a temporal cold war the episodes can happen any time and there's no beginning or end, just one giant paradox.

Hear him, hear him!

I wish we had thumbs up on this forum because you wouldve gotten one from me spot on sir.
Here's a few possibilities that come to mind.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
Thus the future of STO should be fixing the dialog trees for each faction.
This game has become more like a job than a game,Having to work for everything you want all the time, its meant to be a game of fun.
I am finding that in all my time playing this game(about 5 years), newer players in fleets or not, don't seem to want to team up very much for PvE missions. No wonder the queues are mostly dead. There needs to be more single games, ground and space.
how about Medical specialization? a Temporal specialization makes no sense for another 100 years.

ssems like a possibility out in cardassian/bajoran/terran empire territory if you wish to believe in rumors on the possible direction of the game.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
The only issue with this will be those Roms who are high enough level to have picked an alliance, and joined a fleet. If I am understanding things correctly, this would then lead to Roms only being part of a Romulan based fleet.
We come in peace, SHOOT TO KILL!
I have the KDF if I want to play a vicious fascist.
I have Starfleet if I want to play a friendly fascist.
Let the Romulans be something else.
Now now now, as a loyal and dedicated KDF captain, I wish to object. We are not vicious fascists, we are friendly socialists; we believe what you have should be shared with us
Furthermore, we will even invite you to come with us, to a delightfully rustic and quaint nebula where you will be given the priceless opportunity to join a group of pioneers working to make the world a better place through the dignity of labor. Fresh Air! Plenty of exercise! A healthy, robust lifestyle! A high-fiber diet of all natural foods, free from the stale, replicated pablum of the Federation!
Of course, you don't even have to bother with the new Romulus campaign ever, so you might never learn about when or how the gateway was found. But would you want that to be a requirement for story advancement? I think not.
But we use the gateway in 'Sphere of Influence' ... then it gets destroyed by the Heralds in 'Blood of the ancients' only later to be discovered when you finish the tier 5 Romulan rep.
Sense... make ... does ... it ... not!
I'm in!

I must be on the wrong forums, I am looking for fans of STO and read what they think.
They hate cakes, elephants, and the sweets? Must have skipped that episode.
