Heads up: bonus upgrade weekend on Dec. 31

The December 17 patch notes http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9705933
Added Dilithium Weekend (12/17-12/21) and Upgrade Weekend (12/31-1/4) events to the calendar.

Just wanted to let people know ahead of time, so save up your dil for now.

Edit: It was pointed out to me in this thread that this was the original date for the event. My reading comprehension failed me (AGAIN!) so I updated my OP.

The bonus upgrade weekend that was suppose to happen on December 24th was suddenly moved. Instead we're getting a bonus XP weekend.

The December 17 patch notes were also edited to reflect the change in date http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9705933

Just wanted to let people know because a lot have been saving their dil for this coming weekend. I didn't want you to blow all your dil only to find you're not getting bonus tech points. Let people know in game too that they need to save their dil an extra week, and of course keep an eye on the forums in case they decide to move it again suddenly.

It was always going to be 12./31 for the upgrade weekend.

Link to original Tribble notes about that weekend.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

Yeah, this is the way it was supposed to be. Thanks for trying to give the heads up though.

Updated OP. Thanks for pointing that out. LOL.

Sadly, can't view tribble server patch notes unless I'm logged into the forums. I just wind up with a blank forum page when clicking the link. Trendy implied that would be changed so we could view the test server section of the forums even when not logged in after sombody asked, but then again she said months ago she was working to get our forum titles working. So.....yeah.

After the last 2 where items were reworked (Plasma embassy consoles) i'm not going to take part this time. Good luck to those looking to hit rarity on items. But i'm going to save up my dil so i have enough zen banked to splash out on when the Tier 6 Sovereign, Nebula or Vor'cha arrive some time in the near future ones hopes.

I'm ready for it. My dil has been building since I can't afford the Dil-Zen exchange. So this is what I use my Dil for.

Looking at the exchange i expect that many people are expecting a sale soon.
As usual with sales around these times the benefits of the sale are negated by the absurdity of the exchange rate.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
