Romulan Fleet Starbase

I know we will never actually get one, but what if they offered something via the C-Store that could turn an existing fleet's Starbase exterior/interior to look Romulan in design? Would it be worth it for the most likely $20 (low side) to $30 it would cost?
Of course who knows if they could even make such a thing work.

    old topic, rehashed dozens of times since LoR launch... The most likely potential here is a fleet project to cosmetically make the existing fed/kdf starbase use a new skin. Possibly 2 projects one for exterior and one interior

    I am sure it has been, and I expect it to be mostly a cosmetic change. I set of fleet projects would work, I just don't see it happening unless they can monetize it in some way. Though I guess if the projects cost enough dilithium they may see that as a way to get some money out of it.

    Exactly. I am sure they would at least break even on it, which is at least not a loss. Maybe even make money eventually.

    Maybe make a C-Store token that unlocks a starbase project. *shrug* I dunno, something would be nice though.

    I wouldn't mind a starbase token to upgrade a 'neutral' starbase (existing assets exist so could dump that in pretty easily) to 'Romulan.'

    Edit: Not to mention missions that could result from that (buy ships for the starbase, equipment, doffs, BOFFs...) all as materials to go into the starbase construction once the token is gotten.
