Lunge and Sweeping strikes, nerfed?

I could get some big numbers with these abillities. Right now, I don't see them anymore when I use it. Have to say, it is weird to get big damage with melee combat in the 24th century. From a logical point it make sense that the damage is decreased.

    I've got a fleet mate that runs Melee making extensive use of both Lunge and sweeping strikes and he did mention that he's not seeing the numbers he normally put out. But after talking with @tarastheslayer the discrepancy seemed to coincide with the recent patch to fix the issue's with the melee crit doff's not stack their buff's correctly. We'll have to have a look into it. The only trouble is trying to figure out if it's something that has been directly imported from tribble or just a random occurrence within the Holodeck. I think our first test should involve making sure the duty officers are stacking the Crit severity correctly.​​
    Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

    Yeah we'll certainly do some investigating because there does seem to be an issue still with certain stuff, even after the doffs were apparently fixed.

    Well, I don't use doffs for these abillities. So the problem lies probably not there.. I use melee on defera ground to kill drones and I noticed my non-tac sword fighters outperforming my tac with sweeping strikes. It was always the other way arround.

    I think the melee doffs are borked again, after the recent fix reflecting the proper rarity.
    Might also be something with the recent Physical damage bonuses adjustment on the armors - it is supposed to support 'melee only', they could somehow overlook the kit powers (lunge, sweeping strikes), which should be supported.

    Which fix would be potentially to blame would rather depend on what 'recent patch' is. The patch on December 3rd addressed physical damage and the shotgun, the melee doffs fix was on October 27th. How far back did this change seem to take place?

    Spoken to our fleet member and he says it's been since the melee doff fix on October 27th.​​

    I want them to buff the Caitian/Ferasan 'pounce' ability to be at least on par with lunge.... oh, and for them to fix lunge too.
